i don't have my own computer right now, and have to check messages from my phone. if you would like to stay on our couch, please fill out a couch request like normal (don't message, actually do the request!), and then call me at 651-226-8580 so i know that it's there. otherwise i miss messages, people get accidentally ignored, it's all bad. remember, request, then call. if you call me and i don't have a couch request from you, i will assume you are some weirdo with "PSYCHO" written all over your profile, and you'll get an automatic no.

i love art, science, reading, general geekery. i worked at the rocky horror picture show and the minnesota renaissance festival for a few years, so my young mind was corrupted into liking dirty jokes and puns. i never outgrew the smile people have in kindergarten. i sew and make jewelry and costumes. (and love helping people out with dress-up!)

we've hosted a bunch of surfers, but appreciate whatever advance notice you can give. unfortunately we can't offer anyone a shower, we're in the middle of a bathroom remodel. still have a fully functional half-bath, so we're not totally primitive when it comes to facilities.

this thing seems to think i'm logging in from chico, california. well it Lies! i'm in weed. maybe my modem just wishes it were in chico, since it's been so windy and cold!

i am all for playing tour guide and meeting new people. if someone wants to grab lunch, check out the mountain, find out where to shop, where to camp, whatever i'd love to help. this place can be a little... rustic, so it helps to know someone!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i found out about this site when someone came to stay with a friend in hawaii. we went and swam with the dolphins the next morning and all in all had a great time!

went swimming with wild spinner dolphins practically in my own backyard when i lived on the Big Island in Hawaii.
