ABOUT ME My friend Meg, (who I met when she was a CouchSurfer, and then became my my flatemate for a year), kindly wrote this description of me, "If there is one man you need to know in Laguna Beach, it's this one. You will never meet a more generous, caring, accommodating person in your entire life." I believe it's important to be kind, humble, honest, help others and have a genuine appreciation for people and different cultures. PHILOSOPHY Simply be kind to others and treat them as you would like to be treated. I believe everyone has something which makes them unique and interesting, if you just ask the right questions and listen to the answers.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've recently moved, and no longer have the extra room, however, even if I can't host you, I'm happy to be a tour guide and give recommendations and pointers on the best things to see and do in Laguna Beach. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I joined when I learned of it back in 2008 and it seemed like a good idea, but I didn't get around to actually trying it out until 2012. I met Meg, my former flatmate when she was visiting Laguna Beach as a CouchSurfer a couple of years ago, and have since hosted several people.

For years, I've been the kind of person who will stop and give directions if I see tourists looking at a map, or will suggest great, reasonably priced places to eat, or the best beaches, sites and history of the area. Now I'll take it up a notch and see if I can apply accommodations when available.
