CURRENT MISSION
Networking with the world's best travellers and swopping stories over a beer!
ABOUT ME
SORRY GUYS - I'M NOT ALLOWING GUESTS TO STAY FOR THE RUGBY WORLD CUP.
Me, older than a teenager but younger than some buildings in Rome! I love city living, spent 10yrs in London and now 12 in Cardiff. Cardiff is big enough and small enough to roam around at leisure. I like the variety the city affords me. I'm pretty sociable, like my independence, meeting new people, travel stories, rugby fans stories and funny disaster stories.
Having indulged in CS for over 9 years now, it's something which I savour and encourage non CSers to join. It has to be one of the friendliest organisations to be part of. It's certainly opened many windows for me and I've made some pucker friends also!
Advanced notice/requests are better for me due to the fact that work.
If I am working, then I may not be able to come out with you.You have to respect this situation as it's my business.
I'm a trained massuese and can offer a therapeutic massage to any CSers at a reduced price. PM me to get my number and make a booking.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat people the way you want to be treated and remember that bad karma comes back to bite you on the arse!
I'm not at all religious but am a great believer in respect and consideration to others. But it's even more important to make people laugh until their tummy hurts.
In my house, any stealing, smoking, lack of respect and any damage done gets you the instant boot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By providing a warm welcome to Cardiff and my house.
It's best that CSers are self sufficient when it comes to food + travel plans. You are welcome to cook for yourself when you stay and the house has wi-fi.
I like to get involved with local Cardiff members when I can, they know how to party! I like to organise various activities within the group and am happy to help out members when I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since 2008, CS has afforded me LOTS of fantastic guests who I would happily have stay again.
I intend to use CS when I manage to travel again, whenever that will be.
Interests
Travel, photography, cooking, history, culture, rugby, music, shoe shopping, cinema and good socialising, travel and biog books. I'm always interested in current affairs, it's important NOT to be ignorant.

Music, Movies, and Books
Papillion, Leaving Las Vegas, French Connection, In The Loop, Little White Lies, Butch Cassidy+The Sundance Kid, lots of depressing dramas and lots of good comedy, not the bubble gum highly predictable Hollywood stuff.
My Booky Wook, Ollie Reed, Richard Harries, rugby players biogs, Lonely planet travel books.
I like a whole host of music from Edith Piaff to Muse and lots inbetween.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to mention but I did go to a film awards ceremony in Albania in 2008.
Seeing an Octopus very close in the shallow waters of Greco Bay on the Greek island of Patmos, which is my favourite island so far!
Seen Wales win 3 rugby Grand Slams.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach most cooking recipies, how to shout at a referees' decision at a rugby match, how to clear the queue at the bar with stink bombs.
Like to hear people's travel experiences and offer any advice on places that are of interest that I may have visited.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Local knowledge of the city, guidance and anywhere further you want to trave in the UK. Happy to offload websites that may save you money on transport etc.
