Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No experiences through this site yet, but I've had amazingly good times staying on people's couches who I've met in other ways. It's the best way to travel and to really get to know the place you're visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmmm, so many to choose from! Movies: Annie Hall, CQ2, and Waking Life are a few of my faves.
Music: A few albums I'm playing lots these days are "Workingman's Dead" by the Grateful Dead, "Stranger" by Nathan, "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood" by Neko Case.
Books: One of my all-time faves that I'm about to reread is "The Fifth Sacred Thing" by Starhawk, I recently have read and enjoyed "April Raintree" by Beatrice Culleton, "Simplicity" by Mark Burch, and "Ten Thousand Lovers" by Edeet Ravel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Here's a random list of things that comes to mind:
- hiking for a couple days in the Costa Rican rainforest...swimming under a waterfall, seeing amazing creatures, jumping off cliffs into the water
-Canoeing on a wheat field and through a forest during a flood
-Hiking in the Grasslands of BC and being blown away by this habitat an hour from where I live that I didn't even know existed
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you around Winnipeg and share its wonderfulness with you.
I can teach you how to make clothes and some other cool art. Fun!
