ABOUT ME

We are in our fifties, very friendly and easy going. Our children, now adults, have done couch surfing through New Zealand and Australia and Europe. We have a relaxed way of living with lots of pets. Our house is very comfortable and large enough for travelers to relax and have privacy when needed. We have several computers available for use with wireless internet access.

PHILOSOPHY

We want the world to be a kinder friendlier place. We look forward to hosting travelers and opening our home to them. We have hosted international students in the past to encourage the improvement of international relations and understanding. Our kids have traveled extensively and have met wonderful people while doing so. We want to encourage others to do the same by making it easier to travel affordably.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to host people who are traveling. We love to show people around the Philadelphia area and New York City. Of course, we will also be glad to help with transportation for anyone who wants to see things without us since we are not in the usual couch surfing age group from what I have seen on the website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have traveled but not couch surfed - we are probably too old to do it now. However, we would be very happy to have travelers stay with us.

Mark traveled extensively through Europe as an exchange student and had an amazing experience. We traveled together several times a year.
