Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can host folks when our new guest suite has been completed. And we will travel and be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are just back from six weeks in New Zealand. Through couchsurfing—our first time—we met folks who will become life-long friends .

Interests

Art, photography, some aspects of alternative science.

We are not involved with popular culture—that includes contemporary fashion and contemporary music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Our own books. Paula and I each have seven published books, including books on Tuscany and on Iceland and Paula has recently finished making her first film—a three-screen projection. We listen mostly to classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We shipped our old Land Rover to Europe three times and to Iceland and three times for extended photography trips. When doing this we live out of a tent that is on the roof.

Selected a rural place to live in Bucks County,Pennsylvania, and built our house on land that is between two stream crossings. There are no bridges. It is necessary to ford the stream to get to our property. After a big rain or when too much ice has formed, we are either in or out.

Teach, Learn, Share

We occasionally teach photography workshops that have an emphasis on vision. And we know a great deal about extremely effective alternative medicine.
