ABOUT ME

Youth Education Centre(YEC) was founded in 1983. We tried to educate the younger generation of Acehnese, before the tsunami. The YEC already had three branches in Aceh when the tsunami happened 26 December 2004. All activities came to a stop. Classes started again in 2007. Mr. Gaang,a Korean, came to help and rebuild YEC again.

I want to share my experience with the younger generation from around the world who come and visit Aceh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was in a youth exchange program between Indonesia and Canada (Canada World Youth) in 1977-1978. I was a group leader in the same program in 1982-1983.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since 1978 many people have come to Aceh and stayed with us for a couple of days.
