About Me

I love conversations, it's like reading books of life, each one it's an opportunity to learn and understand the people and travel trough his experiences.

I was born in Mexico City but I grew up at the northern part of Mexico where I studied to become an Aviation Pilot but had to quite from that. In my younger days, many good and bad life decisions —and good people— guided me to become a full time-debating competitor while teaching Parlamentary debate at a private university, which has been one of my best life-changing experiencies. In the process, I became a political consultant about community engagement, sustainable practices to promote long-term prosperity and well-being, peace and anti-corruption policies.

Curretly a chief director of a publishing house which targets only institucional publications for academic porpuses and government practices, and still a university teacher on writing, debating, argumentation, logic and book publishing . I am in the process of getting my professional degree on Mexican Cultural Studies at the local state University (Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be united as a human kind, but also as nature since we all in the same home called earth, we all are neighbors, and we share the same air, water and destiny.

Interests

I'm interested in knowing the reality of the countries, not just the pretty touristic places. I would like to understand how locals live and why they live like that.

I love painting (mostly oil) impressionism art, to travel, to drive many hours and to play SimRacing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can easily adjust to your schedule, I'm very clean and I will respect your home rules and times. I would like both having my own time and sharing it.

----- I expect from hosts to share local life style and opinions, to help me understard culture, how people live and why they have certain mentality. To help me know the city or town from a local point of view, to give me tips about knowing the city insights, public transportation, and local culture. If we can do trekking or climb something, much better.

----- I expect from surfers to maintain the same I give, I don´t like to be treated as a Hotel manager, but I respect that sometimes traveling involves emergencies and we need to solve together. I like to help surfers to visit best places of my city (Zacatecas), to help them get the best from their time here.
