About Me

Hello to every couch surfer! I am Andrii from Ukraine, but most of the time I call myself a Citizen of the World (I, know, as everyone else probably lol) ;) I left my hometown when I was just 16 to go to study in the US and since then been trapped in the abroad world, in the journey of life, travelling and exploring! If you like crazy travels - you are on my wavelength! Baically I am very open-minded, like to do different interesting activities, learn new things... a lot.. in a very interesting and alternative ways, travelling is the best through getting lost in the new place. Basically I am interested in everything because there are still so many cool things to learn! I am in love with languages and International Relations and Cultures, always open to share my Ukrainian culture and my experience from other countries life! Also, eager to listen and talk to cool people who have done cool things and adventures as well! I like sustainability, camping, tracking, everything connected with the Nature A LOT!!! Also, I like to have a deep meaningful conversation, laugh, I smile and laugh a lot, either when happy or sad, it’s life and noone will live it but you - that is my life guide! It kinda keeps me going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love visiting new places and traveling with a limited budget, along with meeting new, positive people! I think this is the best way to learn the culture, find the most coolest and open people and learn the language if needed :D

Interests

I have too many, ask me about a specific one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went for an exchange program to the US, which was a kickstarter in my adult abroad life. Also, lived one year in Shenyang, China, which has changed my vision about the world at once! Parallel Universe! Lived in Malaysia during Pandemic. Studied Human Rights in Italy and Brazil! I had crazy stories from my backpacking adventure in South America like crazy crazy! 🤪 can tell you in person more!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach languages I know and open to learn new ones. Fun fact - I worked as a simultaneous interpreter in the past, so I can switch between languages quite easily and we can do that for fun :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive atmosphere and information about Ukraine and its culture, as well as the other places I have been to! Good laughter, I always try to smile!
