About Me

Instagram 🅾 @sour.po.lo

I love to travel, but I also love my job, I guess, I loved every job of mine. Maybe that is why it was easier for me to combine these two into something viable.

The way to live in travel was my conscious choice, but I didn't even expect how far it would take me. No regrets though.

Thanks to it, I hope, I became an open-minded, easygoing, and maybe a little more wise person.

I already have many interests, but I am finding more and more of them because the world is such an exciting place 🤩

Hence, Couchsurfing does feel like a natural place for meeting people alike, to interchange the experience, and especially, to share these moments of excitement and happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started here more that 10 years ago, and from my point of view, CS was different, and many CS people too. This difference, though, kinda reflects my own change as well and I love the fact of it.
I can always feel myself not alone in any part of the world with people from the community.

Interests

Ah, it will take some time to list all :) The affection to new, unknown, and existing, as for many other people. But, specifically, my job, languages, street food, geography and history, mountains and traaains 🚂

  • modern art
  • beer
  • motorcycles
  • yachting
  • movies
  • hiking
  • surfing
  • sports
  • history
  • languages
  • street food

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative music, the one with meaning or no meaning at all, pure art can be such a fascinating thing.

Of any genre, horror works the best for me. Poe, Lovecraft, and Barker are strong. I don't mind other literature as well.

Kurosawa, Tarantino, and Tarkovsky, I appreciate tricky dialogue in movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More than one (:. Among them, the following, but one is a lie:
1. Spent a vacation on a beach in the North Ocean.
2. Hitchhiked 6200 km in 6 days.
3. Stuck with a car in the dryest desert in the world away from the roads.
4. Spent only 100$ for a month of active travelling within two parts of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Years of traveling gave me (I think so) a broader mindset and specific knowledge, and taught me never to give up. I would gladly share these qualities likewise my experience and numerous stories with the CS people
