Overview
About Me
I’m a journalist working on a memoir about my colorful life. Relocating soon to Portland, Oregon and looking forward to starting my third act in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love to meet new and interesting people, cultivate friendships and have fun.

Teach, Learn, Share
Certified to teach high school German but never used it. My mom was a teacher and I aspire to be more of one. Graduated University of Texas in 1989 and attended grad school at the University of Houston. Won Congress-Bundestag and Japan-U.S. Senate scholarships, spending senior year of high school as an exchange student in Germany. Right out of college landed a dream job as a press aide to Texas governor Ann Richards, a political rock star and one of the funniest women who ever lived.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a great conversationalist, a witty raconteur with lots of stories to tell. And I’m a journalist so I want to hear your stories; I’m a good listener and amateur psychotherapist. I can teach you some German or correct your (English) grammar.
