About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy my life and discover the world as much as I can.

ABOUT ME

ALL about me? There is not enough space for it :D Okay, here the "hard facts": I was a student in Master of Multimedia, finished it and had a world-around-trip after. Then I worked and lived one year in Munich.
I quit my job for a tv production company in Leipzig to do a work and travel year in Canada. That year is already over but I´m still in the country as a tourist. After that time I will discover more (especially warmer!) places before I will return home after two full years of travelling.

Besides that, I try to find out what´s important in life and what I will achieve. Personal information: I think that I´m open-minded, fresh, spontanious, curious, funny, determinded and a lot of other things. My mood and character depends on the people and situations so no guarantee for a constantly schema how I react (but I think thats a good thing) :)I think this community offers a lot of possibilities. Hopefully I will meet some nice guys (male and female) to share beautiful moments in a foreign country.
Cheers! Caro.

PHILOSOPHY

Every human achieves the world to his birth. The whole world. But must of us not even haven´t touched the ribbon, not to mention to take a look inside.
In my regularly life I go on living like community and rules tought me. But sometimes I need to break out to realize what are the important things in life and what makes me happy. Feeling the ultimate freedom is what makes me already really really happy. But there are a lot of smaller and bigger things out there as well. Let´s figure out together! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some of the most remarkable experiences and memories I´ve made through Couchsurfing. Oh my god I love this community so much! Especially if you´re a solo traveller, it´s really nice to have people around the world to be immediately connected with (most of the time ;) ). That´s why I try to proclaim this community to anyone I am talking with haha. I try to have a good time with the host. In my city/country I try to be a good guide :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

most of the time:
Fortunately most of the time it was positive! And I found people that were not only hosts or other guests, I also found friends for life.
The only negative experiences that I´ve made where the ones I got a negative reference for. But I still believe that it was right to let other people know that CS shouldn´t be a plattform making money with travellers!

Interests

friends, dancing, fotography, art, nature, sports, singing, writing.
discover the world and try not to be too serious all the time. I love to laugh!

Music, Movies, and Books

music for going out:
house, electro, minimal
music for life:
almost everything.
I like to read books and stories of travelling, try to feel what the author felt at the moment he wrote the words. But I like reading in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the chance to dive with whale sharks and turtles, ride on an elephants back, cuddle with tigers, swim in fluorescent plancton, drove an offroad army car in sand dunes. I did a helicopter-flight above the Iguaçu waterfalls in Brasil and the Rocky Mountains in Canada. Jumped three times out of an airplane (Germany, Argentina and New Zealand). Did tango in Buenos Aires, hiked some stunning sceneries. Bought my first car ever in my life at age 35 in Canada, lived in it for half a year and drove 20.000km on my own all the way to Alaska and back. During my travels had moments in which I felt free. That is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German for sure. I can also teach you some photography skills ;) I know how to bake and cook! I´m always optimistic and can try to show you my way of thinking (be happy whenever you can and enjoy the little things in life!). Some people told me that I inspired them - that was the nicest thing to hear! The other things we have to find out together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Entertaining and kitchen skills at least ;) If we do have the same humour, I would consider myself as quite entertaining! I´m interested in almost everything, so you can take me to any event/ show/ museum/ place/ ... and I would participate! If I would like it though is another topic :D
