ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Anna, I am 31 years old. I starting traveling extensively when I had a great experience backpacking Europe for four months in. I've been traveling for 8 years now. Brooklyn is my home base! Connecting with people and learning about their stories is my favorite part of travel. I have met some of the kindest and most interesting people on Couchsurfing.

I love music, reading, and taking pictures!! I value experiences over possessions. I enjoy the beach during the day, at night, and every time in between. I enjoy making new friends. I want to live close to the beach and mountains at some point in my life. I love to have random adventures. I'm a casual hiker. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been my best travel experience!! I started doing in in Barcelona and I loved it. I have made so many good friends through Couchsurfing:)

Books: Reading Wheel of Time right now. I loved Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts it was the best book I've ever read! Harry Potter and so many more.

Music: Brand New is my favorite band. I like Underoath, Atreyu, The Devil Wears Prada, Augustana, Florence and the Machine, London Grammar, Sia, Anberlin, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Macklemore, Lorde, Alt J, Yuna, The Dirty Heads, Jacks Mannequin,The Spill Canvas,Bright Eyes and Michael Franti.

TV: I have been watching Bored to Death, The Blacklist, Veep, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, True Detective, The Newsroom, The Mindy Project, Suits and Arrow. Big fan of Heroes, Weeds, The Big Bang Theory and Prison Break

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rescued three stranded Yellow Bellied Sea Snakes in Costa Rica.

Bungee jumping in British Columbia and Ecuador

Seeing the lava up close in Hawaii

Releasing baby sea turtles in Costa Rica

Seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland
