PHILOSOPHY

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched and those who tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH SURFING

Hosting people whenever I can, looking for like minded persons, feel free to contact. I do travel a lot mostly within India. At the moment, busy in setting up my new business after a taking break of 5 years! I took retirement from active business then and was experimenting with farming and other agribusiness opportunities by attending many trainings and farm visits. Met many experienced farmers and farm owners, attending classes, learning by doing…. And now ready to launch again!

After my Bengaluru days, I wanted to be active in Kochi CS group, but my business did not give me enough time to be available when things happening here. At Bengaluru we had a bunch of good people with whom we had a lot of fun, activities, trips etc.

Also make it to some local CS events like our Wednesday weekly meet as and when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Got chance to meet more than 425 persons within such a short time of joining CS. So far, so good! Baring two instances, rest all meetings were very good!

I host all the time and usually everyone is great. I've made some good friends, and had good times with lots of people. But occasionally, I had experiences that isn't so good. Nothing terrible... usually, it's just someone does not clean up after themselves or makes me feel like they just wanted a free place to stay or just won't respect the couch descriptions (or rather conditions) given on my couch profile or adhere to the pre-agreed timings! It's not the worst thing in the world, but it makes me feel like these people don't have the right attitude towards their hosts.

Good to meet so many people from different countries, cultural backgrounds and time zones, it is fun, helping each other and learning all the way........

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The enthusiasm of people, the amount of time, money, struggle and planning people undertake to go around the world and see and share the experiences. I am sourcing all the inspiration and courage to undertake such a trip in future when I get past 60!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that we can learn something from almost everyone that we meet. Every human being is a unique creation of God and is in the process of finding their full potential.

I am thankful to few experienced couch surfers for guiding me properly in the beginning and making me understand the spirit of CS! To name some of them...

Rahul Thomas, Vinayak Hegde, Sangeeth Kumar, Vijay Mohan .....

Thanks a ton, friends!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some time a full apartment, or a room, Some time a Couch, Some time a Coffee....... It all depend on what level we are....

We got a house at Manjeri and Kakkanad and we spent time between these two places in a month.
