About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Hey guys I've decided to take a break from hosting for a bit, while I figure out wether or not in going to continue to being a CS member, but if there's anything else I can help with please give me a call.

deciding on the future.

ABOUT ME

I'm 39, an aviation mechanic and have been in Hawaii for just about 6 years. I love to travel when I have the time, and when I don't I enjoy having guests. I listen to a wide variety of music enjoy a different types of films and am always interested in learning something new, and meeting someone new.

PHILOSOPHY

It takes something more than intelligence to behave intelligently. “Fyodor Dostoevsky”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My dream would be to travel and not work and have a unlimited source of cash in which to finance such an endeavor, but since that pipe dream will never come true, I rely on the generosity of couchsurfers and certainly they can rely on me to do what I can to ease a bit of the burden. My current living situation isn't going to allow for me to host (which I am extremely disappointed about!!!) but please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can help with (313) 330 4234, any CS'er can give me a call should the need arise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a more active memeber of hospitality club, and so I have hosted a few people and been hosted a few times, always with great results. (my user name and location are the same there if anyone would like to know)

Interests

I love music, films, taking photographs, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Motorcycle Diaries, Black Like Me, Autobiography of Malcolm X, War Is A Racket, The Politics of Truth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

S.P.I.E. rigging over the desert in Yuma Arizona (ask and I'll tell you what it means). Riding camels in Morrocco, breaking ice on a boat in the great lakes, building homes for habitat for humanity, teaching english in Peru, running down the side of a cliff in the Andes, and maybe more.

Teach, Learn, Share

....I have been a student of film making and photograpghy, I was a U.S. Marine for 6 years, currently I am an aviation mechanic and now I have quite a bit of travel experience. I feel as though I have a unique perspective of the United States, I love my country but I am never afraid to express when I think something is wrong, who'd guess a liberal (or socialist as my co-workers call me) in the military, it happens more than most people would believe, it's pretty intersting I think

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Chile, El Salvador, France, Ireland, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
