About Me

I am originally from Michigan and now live in Colorado after spending 2.5 years travelling and living overseas (1 year in New Zealand, 1.5 in the UK). I am always happy to take people out on adventures, biking, hiking, climbing, etc.

I like to host when I can but I haven't been in a position where I can host people in a few years. I may be able to host now, depending on dates and times, so get in touch and hopefully we can work something out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have spent most of my free time exploring the United States and only started branching out to international travel in the past few years. I started using Couchsurfing when I moved to Montana in 2015 to share my home with other travelers looking to experience everything that I love about the United States, and now that I am traveling, I use it to meet new people and learn about new places. When traveling, I like to camp whenever possible, but when that ISN'T possible, Couchsurfing is a nice alternative. I have made some good friends that I am still in touch with because of Couchsurfing, but have also just hosted people for a single night on their journey elsewhere; both are valuable.

Interests

Things I enjoy include mountain biking, geocaching, rock climbing, trail running, hiking, nature, travel, chopping wood, wool socks, and many other things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know how to tie my own shoes. I also know how to make breakfast burritos, and am happy to share.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach outdoor skills like how to use a compass and could probably teach you a few nice recipes I have picked up over the years.

I'd like to learn as much as I can about other places and peoples' experiences and find new places to explore for myself. I'll learn about anything you are willing to share.

I can share some ridiculous stories and hopefully a few laughs!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mostly a nice smile and a dry place to stay. Definitely some breakfast.
