About Me

I'm Francesco, an engineer, originally from Puglia but now a Roman by choice, boldly passionate about backpacking trips and freedom. I consider myself a culture enthusiast in all its forms and am always on the hunt for experiences that enrich my life. I'm captivated by topics related to personal growth and love helping others develop their potential.

One of the things that defines me is my constant desire to step out of my comfort zone. I enjoy putting myself to the test, challenging myself, and growing through new experiences. Even though I'm quite content in my own company, I find it incredibly rewarding to spend time with others, share knowledge, and continually learn something new.

I'm constantly looking for beauty in the world.

I hope these few lines have given you a glimpse of who I am and what I'm passionate about. I'm always open to new friendships and growth opportunities, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you share the same passions or if you'd like to explore something new together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy getting to know people, especially those from different backgrounds than mine. Whenever I get the chance, I love giving my guests a glimpse of Rome beyond the typical tourist spots.

When I'm traveling abroad and meet someone who's eager to walk and have a chat about their city and culture, it truly elevates my experience, especially when they're passionate about where they come from.

Interests

I embarked on my first journey when I turned 30, which some might consider late, but since that day, my passion for travel has never waned. I am intimately familiar with Italy, my homeland, and have explored most parts of Europe.

Additionally, I have a diverse range of interests such as camping, reading and writing books, hiking in nature, indulging in music, hitting the gym, and, of course, savoring good food (a common trait among mentally sound Italians, LOL).

Most importantly, I have a genuine ardor for sharing my culture with others and, in turn, learning about theirs bit by bit. I simply cannot envision my life without the invaluable gift of culture and the daily eagerness to discover something new.
