I am a 60 year old male looking to travel and learn as much as possible. I am a native of Eugene, Oregon and was a teacher and Park Ranger for the Nation Park and US Forest Service for over two decades. I have wandered to Seattle where I work for an airline and have the ability to travel all over the world on a whim. I am still new at this travel game, and I am absolutely addicted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On occasion, I enjoy wandering and travel by myself. I am in excellent physical condition and can move quickly with little planning. The more, the better! Locals can share their city way better than the travel brochures can!

I am a former educator and tour leader all over the Pacific Northwest. I have worked for the National Park Service at Crater Lake, Redwoods, Olympic National Parks. I also worked at Mount St. Helens and Wallowa Lake in Oregon.
