It may sound boring for a place like CS, but I am foremost interested in travel. I work and go through the hard yards just to earn my time away. I am not too much of the party type these days, but I do like the company of friends and strangers alike. I enjoy seeing live music, going out to watch movies with friends and the odd flutter of poker at the casino.

I would say I am rather shy and reserved, but if I have a good connection with someone then I am probably seen as more outgoing and relaxed. I feel I am considerate to those around and want to assist people in any way I can.

I am very passionate about visiting Europe, Germany in particular, and plan on traveling there regularly and looking into the possibility of moving permanently there one day. I have a strong interest in learning German and really enjoy chats about languages and lifestyles of different parts of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch available (see couch info for more detail). Alternatively I am keen on meeting up with any couch surfer visiting Melbourne for coffee, food and/or to show around. If wanting to check out some live bands - I'm the guy to seek! I drive and know of many great locations that tourists must visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting people from January 2010, and have since hosted a lot of surfers aswell as surfing some couches in Germany and Austria. I also enjoy going out to many of the CS events organised on the Melbourne group aswell as during my time in Germany & Austria.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My favourite place in the world is along the Rhine. Absolutely beautiful. Staying at Kay's place near Bingen and doing car and boat trips around the Rhine was major highlights, as is the train line that runs from Koblenz to Mainz. Oktoberfest 2011 was ridiculously good fun :D Traveling around Allgaeu, and the Baltic Coast are some of the most memorable places I visit.
