ABOUT ME

My instagram: mrkicaro (feel free to follow if you like it)

My name is Icaro Muniz, but please call me Kiko. I love my nickname. I'm a Brazilian guy who loves to learn languages and make friends at home or traveling. I like movies and music quite a lot and I love to talk about them. I was introduced to this community in 2014 in the World Cup in Brazil and since then I had the opportunity to meet so many cool peoples and experience a lot awesome things that I probably wouldn't without CS. So I'm very grateful to the site and I tried to help nice people every time I can. I also enjoy learning others languages, so the site is a very good way to practice them without leaving home or immerse in it in another country as I could do in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and USA lately.

PHILOSOPHY

#1 - There are much more GOOD people in the world then BAD ones.
#2 - To live the moment.
#3 - You only live once, make sure it is enough.
#4 - Comparison is the thief of joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couching and surfing... Even though I must say that I'm now living in a very small place, where I think I could not host more than one person at a time. For tourists who want to visit Brasília, I think I live in one of the best areas, because I'm almost inside the center and heart of the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm starting my experiences hosting and meeting people from many places. I spent a long time unable to travel because of my studies and now I'm more free to do it. I already know a lot of people abroad and I'm sure I'm gonna met many of them in a near future. I have been meeting a lot a good people and I'm loving this experience. I wish I had learn about this website a long time ago!
In 2016 I had the opportunity to use this site to know Mexico City, Cancún, Rio de Janeiro in the Olympics, and Florianópolis. 2017 I went into a 40 days backpacking through USA from West to Est only using CS, what was pretty amazing, and I did a 10 days trip to Curitiba where I met some good friends that I previously hosted in my home.

Interests

I like making friends and knowing about their cultures, and I very much like nature and things like hiking, climbing, waterfalls, swimming... I consider myself a cinephile. I'm constantly watching movies and some TV shows, and talking about them. I like music aswell, I'm very ecletic in this matter, even though my heart pumps much stronger when the subject is "Heavy Metal". \m/
I like to laugh a lot, so I'm very good with outgoing people and funny people.
