About Me

I am that girl in the corner of the room who unwaveringly smiles at everyone hoping somebody will come up and talk to her.

She believes that a smile is a common language that transcends words and warms the heart.

That is why she always hope to start a conversation with a 😊.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to know more about the culture, people, religion, beliefs, and just the entire "feel or atmosphere" of the place.

So, who are the best people who can genuinely teach me these things?

LOCALS

Where can I find them online so we can arrange to meet?

COUCHSURFING

In my opinion, this is the most viable option for travelers to authentically learn more about the country and its people.

While it can be a great platform to meet locals, it can also help you connect with fellow travelers with the same itinerary or destination.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is "la vita e bella" (Life is beautiful). It's a tear-jerking movie. I literally cried the entire night.

It's just BEAUTIFUL! All the films I watched before pales in comparison with this classical masterpiece.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is one of the hardest questions. It is analogous to the question: "what is THE BEST country you've visited in your entire life?" How can you possibly answer and choose only ONE.

To put simply, I try to see the best in every people I meet and get most out of my experiences wherever my path leads me.

( I know what you're thinking, this is a recipe for disaster and endless heartache.) However, I'd rather stretch my arms wide open and take full force whatever life gives me than succumb to my fears by constantly avoiding 'pain'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some Japanese words cause I studied the Japanese langauge way back in HS and in uni.

If you let me use your kitchen I can cook some Filipino dish as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Thailand, Viet Nam
