About Me

[trying out a relocation to bewelcome..same username..]

Hello!

2023 update::: Working and living on an organic farm just outside Exeter, with my partner Miki and our 12 and 4 year old kids. I like anything slow, whether its travel, food, communicating, working or relaxing and as such am trying my best to stay in an analogue world where human relationships are more real and the thrill of the unknown still thrives. As a result I don't use computers so much (and therefore couchsurfing...) but aim to check to see if I can offer a roof or some guidance. I'm a big fan of hitchhiking and think if everyone did it then people would be a lot nicer to their fellow humans; it provides trust, spontaneity, genuine experiences and a ripple effect that positively reaches an unknown number of people.

I've been very fortunate to have spent my adult life so far in various places, living life at my own pace, working anywhere and anything to be able to maintain my freedom, learning, playing, eating, drinking, living life while making my way around this beautiful planet we all call home...yoroshiku!

PHILOSOPHY

vivez-vous pour travailler, ou travaillez-vous pour vivre?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted in my ex-homes in Europe and Japan, and been hosted across Europe and Japan. Got a spare room in a nice location so looking forward to hosting some people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started on a solo trip to Rodrigues (Mauritius) in March 2009 and I was overwhelmed by the generosity of people who knew nothing about me. within thirty minutes I'd been fed, given the house keys, moped keys, and a map.. since then I've mainly hosted and its been a pleasure each and very time and I like to think those lovely CSers think the same:)
