About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To welcome CSers from around the world. Pay it forward.

^_^ Live life, love, learn, let go, lose, nevertheles...L❤ve, for if it is true, it will come back to you.🕊

I joined CS in 2012 when I studied in the Netherlands and I am just in awe of this community. I feel like we are all soulmates here, wandering the earth trying to find each other, and when we do - bump into each other whether during our walking tours or hangouts, even just in the silence of having drinks together, watching the sunrise/sunset, those moments make me feel like our stars aligned, and it's just magical. 💫

ABOUT ME

I give off that "don't f*ck with me" energy/vibe. Got a resting b*tch face, but I promise you, when I smile, you can truly see that I am open-minded, empathic, accommodating, curious, non-judgemental, helpful, and easy going. I can be the best friend you will ever have!😅

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my couchsurfing experiences have been great so far!!! So much blessed with wonderful hosts and I have also tried hosting and meeting people from different countries has been very enriching =) I totally love CS!!!

Hosted: 2 in the Netherlands (Andrea from Switzerland and Shidi from China)

Surfed with Maecel (in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain) and Leny in Berlin, Germany)

Interests

Good movies, music, books, cafe mocha and chocolates and a wonderful conversation with a wonderful and interesting person :)

I like strolling around. Just taking a walk and discovering new places. I look forward to changing my health-lifestyle by visiting the gym or being disciplined in having exercise. TRYING to do intermittent fasting.

I prefer traveling alone but for security reasons, I understand to have at least a buddy to travel with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some "Extreme" Adventures

"Plunge" - This is a customized form of bungee jumping. I did it in one of the municipalities of my home province (Danao, Bohol) - The Plunge is a canyon swing adventure attraction mounted over a 200 meter high and 300 meter wide gorge. A person would have to do a 45 meters free fall before being launched on a pendulum swing measuring to a hundred meter diameter. Cable has a maximum working load of 5 tons. Now longer (70 meters) more fear some. (http://www.eatdanao.com/plunge.html)

Parasailing in Boracay - also one of the islands in the Philippines in the province of Aklan, parasailing lets you hover above Boracay's blue water as you are harnessed to a colorful canopy chute and lifted through the air while being pulled along by a speeding boat far below. This is a great way to enjoy this tropical paradise high above with the view of surrounding islands! (http://www.myboracayguide.com/boracay-activities/Parasailing-267.html)

First trip abroad - That moment when I was still in the plane and we were just a few minutes and distance away from Amsterdam. Looking at the window, it was very overwhelming, exhilarating, almost unbelievably true :)

Teach, Learn, Share

1.) Stop that Sneeze - you can actually stop that coming sneeze by squeezing your nose and keeping your eyes open! and 2.) You can prevent your tears from falling if you stand by the wall upside down (hahaha) just kidding but you are welcome to try! especially number 1
