About Me

Perdón pero el perfil fue armado en inglés cuando buscaba alojamiento y hora me da un poco de fiaca pasarlo a español. Por suerte existe el traductor de google :)

Sax player with great passion but no so much talent, Jazz & Blues (John Coltrane is my North) but I like listening to almost every kind of music, classic films enthusiast.
I'm quite good at cooking and even better at eating.
I would like to learn as much as possible before I start to forget everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

Music has been a great part of my life since I got my first cd-player, when I was 11 years-old. I started listening to the only 2 CD's I got at that time: "Californication" by the RHCP and a Ramones mix made by a friend of mine. At first it was OK, but then it started to get a little boring, so I started to listen any radio station that would play any kind of rock music. That's how I started to learn about all kinds of different genres, styles and artists. Nowadays my favourite kind of music is jazz (almost every style since 1930 'til these days, and every location from Philippines to Bolivia), but I'm always looking for something new that pushes the boundaries and gets to the very core of my soul.
Beer, cocktails, films, literature in general and philosophy in particular are some of the best things that I've discovered by sharing music with friends and strangers: by connecting through such a personal but yet universal channel, we broaden our minds and get to places and experiences that are mostly unimaginable, and always memorable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm the first and only guanaco rider in Patagonia (the guanaco is a native animal from Patagonia, pretty similar to a llama or a vicuña). The adventure only lasted a few seconds, until I was thrown away by a sudden and unexpected jump, but still counts! And I drunk a can of coke while diving 30m underwater.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to teach you how to cook a glorious sauce for pasta (and how to make pasta by the way). Also, I'm capable of showing you how to use shortcuts, formulas and lots of utterly useless features of Microsoft Excell

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've got lots of funny and embarrasing stories to tell, and hundreds of albums and films to recomend.
