Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A week ago, in a language exchange mmetup in Madrid, I met a guy who told me about couch surfing. I had heard about it but never had actually tried it out. he told me about the experiences he had had traveling and hosting people from all over the world. I thought it was really worth joining couch surfing. That´s why I joined.

Interests

Well, Right now, I´m changing careers. I used to be a teacher but now I´m training to become a psychotherapist. I´m really interested in Psychology and Neuroscience. My favorite sport is swimming. I just love it. i also love biking. I wish Madrid, my city, was a bike friendly city like Amsterdam!! I also love writing as a hobby. I try to practise christian meditation every day. it´s something that really helps me. I have been learning Chinese for two years now. I´m not very fluent yet but I´m improving. I love music. Almost all kinds. I listen to it as much as I can!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. My favorite music is Classical. I love Mozart. I also love jazz, pop and rock. I listen to music every time I can. while working or washing dishes.
There are a lot of movies I like. One of my favorites is The Big Lewoski or There´s something about Mary.
One of my favorites books is The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarrilion. I read them when I was 17 and they impressed me a good deal. I also love the Count of Montecristo. Books by Wodehouse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The trip that I most remember it´s the one I did on my own. All along the west coast of America. It was great. I got to meet plenty of people who were really welcoming to me. A person I met took me to Esalen, near San Francisco. I stayed in a vegetarian community for some days. I met some Vietnam veterans...

My cooking skills are really poor so I´m afraid I won´t be able to share with you any Spanish cooking. Instead I have worked for some years as a Spanish teacher so, if you want, and if you are learning Spanish I can help you out.
