About Me
Moin! (This is the way we greet people here in the North of Germany :))
Yes, I am from East Frisia, where the cows haven’t been painted violet yet. (Milka chocolate <3)
By the way, my favourite colour is green, but I would never dare discriminating all the other beautiful colours ;) (Look at my pullover!)
My favourite food is green as well, because I am a vegetarian and I love cooking together and trying out new recipes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After taking my A-levels this summer I started studying. Soon I found out that a laboratory is not my preferred work place.
I as a communicative person do not want to be isolated, but want to meet new interesting people from different countries. Learn about their life, their area, their language, and their culture.
This is why I am here. I want to start all over in order to get new ideas and a new perspective. Get inspiration for my life.
Interests
I love learning new languages and I enjoy imitating accents.
Furthermore I am interested in graphics and web design thus I am experienced with Photoshop. I created our schools homepage and did the layout and print for our student’s newspaper.
And… Yes, if you have problems with your computer, it won’t be a problem for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
The last book I have read was the “Känguru Manifest”, because I like satirical texts. Beyond my favourites are some dystopian novels: 1984, Brave New World, and the Circle.
Books referring to (modern) history are also interesting to me: “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer“ or „The Reader“.
I open to many genres of music. Unfortunately I am not able to play any instruments. Well, I tried to learn how to play the guitar by myself, but I have never got further than the basics. :)
