Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

READ THIS i do NOT host surfers who show no evidence of having read my profile. There are a glut of surfers and less hosts so give me a reason to let you share my home and my life.
I do NOT host single sex groups of 3 or more.
I prefer to host surfers over 25, who can pick up after themselves, not hog the bathroom or my computers.
Fresh fruit, vegetables, dark chocolate, cake and flowers are always a welcome addition. Tobacco is extremely expensive here. It is highly taxed.
If you craft or play music, come prepared to share....
If you do not leave feedback i will leave you a neutral. This is a trust scheme - and if you have had a bad time i want to know, if you have had a good time i want everyone else to know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In spite of public appearance, i am significantly physically and mentally disabled. Many of the people i know or host have visible impairments and invisible conditions.

Interests

I have hosted many surfers, and i am generally interested in life, diversity and culture.
I am especially interested in hosting people who are moving to Edinburgh to work or study here.
I choose people who sound interesting and who say why they want to spend time with Me
Generalised requests to stay in Edinburgh, for whatever reason are all politely declined.
This tends to ensure a very positive experience for all concerned.
