Hello, my name is Marcel and I'm from Germany. I want to develop myself and meet new people. That's why I use couchsurfing and I already had good experience with it. Recently I moved to the beautiful town of Weimar. I'm happy to welcome you here!

I like travelling alot and I'm open to new experiences. At the moment Estonia is one of my favourite destinations. I like being in the nature, cycling and hiking, learn new things about a forein culture and help other people.

Furthermore I like to learn the language before I travel into a country, because then you have a completly different travel experience. That's the reason why I'm learning Estonian. Besides of this I'm learning Chinese and Polish.

In my freetime I like reading books and cooking dishes from varios countries. I'm always happy to learn new recipes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a Chinese university for 3 months and taught students in German. This was a huge challenge, but the hospitality of the Chinese people gave me a better impression of the country. I'm glad, that I had the chance to go there.
