About Me
Just got back from an awesome first trip to Japan. I learned so much about the culture, language, and food in 5 weeks mainly though couchsurfers. Thank you!! Especially since I never thought I would surf overseas.

I'm in the Sports industry so I'm on the road quite a bit for work. I also do a fair share of solo travel and visiting friends/family around the country. Currently 100% nomad. Mostly Summers in the PNW and Winters in the Midwest.
I am the sum of everyone I've ever met and everywhere I've been. I'm curious about Life and prefer to learn by meeting people and talking about it - usually over food, bourbon, or arts and live entertainment.
Everyone travels differently. I love this app for connecting with other transients and travelers along the way. It's such a great community. It seems we all have a lot in common- regardless of where we're from or where we're going. Don't often need a place to crash, but always down to meet up.
Hope to cross paths and share stories (and brainstorm solutions to the world's problems).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd rather live in a world where we trust our neighbors.
You might not ever be able to walk a step in someone else's shoes, but through trust, we may be able to stay in someone else's home.
I love seeing how people live. You can learn something from anyone you meet.
There's also a comfort in meeting strangers that feel like old friends. My kind of people, regardless of where I am in the world.
This is such a wonderful community I'm so proud to be a part of. We all get to practice and teach each other how we want this safe space to be.
I love meeting up/surfing, but I really can't wait until I get the opportunity to host. That will be the most rewarding.
Some favorite quotes;
The world is as big or as small as you make it.
The grass isn't greener on the other side; it's greener where you water it.
The glass isn't half empty or half full; it's re-fillable.
