Im a brazilian guy living in Porto, Portugal, and this is the first time I leave my country, I've never expected on doing this, but now this is real!
I consider myself as beeing a nice person who is always trying to be a better human, trying to learn with my mistakes and getting always better! For this purpose I try to understand myself, to observe who I am and then improve every detail (I believe the way we treat ourselves is the way we treat people, so if you dont love you, you are not able to love the others. This way we see that is only looking for us that we can get better and better, everything is inside).

I often meditate, I had good spiritual experiences in Brazil, mainly in indigenous rituals and all of its medicine. Also I like to experience everything, not just think and conclude that it's good or bad, but to feel things and empirically conclude.

As everyone (or almost everyone) I love meeting and knowing new people, new places and all about its culture, history and traditions. Having beer or wine while chating is always good. I love animals, so if you have a pet, be sure I'll play with him.

I have some hobbies that is music, reading, exercising, playing soccer, meditating, planting or just cultivating my plants (I talk to my plants), writing about my day (I try to do this everyday, its a good way to be proud of yourself), going to the theater, watching the sunset (and applauding then), playing guitar and to cook! I think there is more things, but this is all I can remember right now.

And maybe its importante to point that everything in life has to be made with love: from cooking (love is the best spice) to meditating, none of them will be complete if you dont put your love energy.

To finish: I try to live my life the way I wanted the world to live: calmly, gratefully and with a smile on my face.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I don't know many countries and many different places like the most of the people here in CS community, but the few that I know were always better if I met some local or someone who really live everyday in that place.

I believe couchsurfing is more than free accomodation, but a experience of understanding the place completely.
Meeting people makes me understand things more than looking at buildings or reading information boards.

I want to meet people from the places I'll visit, because I dont mind really if Paris or London is very well known worldwide, If I don't know people, I won't feel like I've met the place. But please, do not understand this as if I wanted to do research with you and get you tired or bored (hahaha), I just need to know someone who tells me minimally how is your life and stuff like this. This is just awesome for me cause I've never imagined that this would be possible in my life

Also, since I said that people make me understand places more than buildings, of course I also want to receive people from different places of the world here in Porto and then in Brazil.

I'm a cinema lover and passionate about music in all of its rhythms.

Music shapes the ambience and sometimes can be better than anything to let you up! Life without music is like the earth without the sun! hahahaha I exaggerated, but really, I love music.

Also, books frees us! I can go anywhere and live different lives and different moments of the history with books. I consider them a good friend and a good teacher.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I guess the most incredible thing I did was to move to a house with other 7 friends. I used to live in 8 people in a house in Brazil. Of course, they are my friends, but really, people are very different, their ways of dealing with the world and things, so living with 8 different people made me more open and tolerant.
