Hey 👋

My name is Matt and I currently live in London. I moved here a few years ago and love the amount of things that the city has to offer.

I moved here after living in Birmingham where I studied at university. I studied computing and business (I loved business ... not so much the computing).

I recently started up my own video production business and have really enjoyed working with so many different people on a range of projects. 🎥

Being able to travel and experience new cultures and meet new people really influences my creativity be that with a camera or cooking in the kitchen (a real passion of mine) 🍳

I really want to explore more of the world now and become even more inspired each place that I visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy the company of others and having recently started working as a videographer, I really want to capture videos of the world around us. Be that the people living in their different cultures or the amazing wildlife and scenery that the planet has to offer. 🏞

Couchsurfing allows me to combine both of these things and get to meet and know new people who I can build a strong friendship with who I can share great thoughts and ideas with.

Interests

I have always been an active person, ever since I was a young child. I loved team sports growing up and eventually went on to coach in both football and volleyball. I like to see others progress and develop in their skills and being a part of that is amazing! ⚽️ 🏐

As I have grown older, I've really started to enjoy cooking and regularly practice new dishes and recipes and cook for whoever will dare try my food (please check some of my dishes in my photo album and let me know what you think 😊)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have two great memories which I will never forget, one of which was doing a horseback safari in Kenya! It was a fantastic experience 🦒

The other is spending time with a family in Thailand where I learned to cook some amazing Thai dishes in an authentic style. Its a beautiful country with amazing people and a lot of culture which I loved! 🇹🇭
