About Me

Hey there, fellow travelers and culture enthusiasts! I'm Eddie, your Nairobi-based Couchsurfing host, and I'm thrilled to embark on a journey of connection and exploration with you. Hailing from the enchanting city of Mombasa, where I spent seven enriching years, my passion for immersing myself in diverse cultures led me to join Couchsurfing in 2017.

Although I had a brief hiatus due to a minor hiccup, I'm back and more excited than ever to open my doors to fellow wanderers and share unforgettable experiences. My eagerness to foster global connections once again has driven me to relaunch my hosting journey. As they say, every setback is a setup for a comeback!

Recently, I returned from an awe-inspiring backpacking adventure across 14 captivating African countries. Accompanied by my dearest friend and roommate, Cyrus, we embarked on a thrilling journey that unveiled the true essence of this magnificent continent. The landscapes, people, and stories have all left an indelible mark on my heart.

Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya, is not just my home; it's a melting pot of cultures, experiences, and perspectives waiting to be discovered. When I'm not immersed in my role as a travel consultant at Eddie Mors African Tours and Safaris, or busy curating content for my personal blog "Footloose Kenyans" and my YouTube channel "Eddie Mors Vlogs," I find joy in showing visitors around my beloved city.

Whether it's exploring the bustling markets, savoring the rich flavors of Kenyan cuisine, or discovering hidden gems tucked away in Nairobi's corners, I'm here to make your stay an unforgettable one. Let's share stories, dive into local traditions, and paint memories against the backdrop of Nairobi's beauty.

So, if you're seeking an authentic and immersive travel experience, I'm here to welcome you with open arms. Let's not just see the world, but experience it together. Feel free to reach out to me, and when my schedule aligns, I'd love nothing more than to be your guide to the wonders of Nairobi.

See you soon on this incredible journey of exploration and cultural exchange!

Welcome to my cozy home in Juja, just on the outskirts of Nairobi! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still within reach of the city's excitement, you've found the perfect spot. My place is about 40 minutes from Nairobi's city center and 50 minutes from the airport, making it conveniently accessible.

We're well-connected to public transportation with the super metro buses, which are not only convenient but also budget-friendly, costing just Kshs 70 (approximately 0.40 USD) for a one-way trip.

In my tranquil neighborhood, you'll have all the comforts of home. Myy apartment includes a balcony, a private bathroom with a hot shower, and access to a fully equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, cooker, and utensils. While I don't require it, you're welcome to join in on food shopping and preparation—it's a courteous option for those who'd like to contribute to our shared space.

I share my home with my roommate, Cyrus, who is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for an extra level of comfort during your stay, I also have an additional mattress available for a more restful night's sleep.

One of the highlights of our home is the rooftop, where you can soak in the breathtaking views of both sunset and sunrise. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and reflect on your adventures in Nairobi.

I'm excited to host fellow travelers and share the unique experiences that Juja and Nairobi have to offer. Feel free to reach out and book your stay with us. We can't wait to welcome you!
