About Me

IMPORTANT!!! There is a lot of dating apps available nowadays and Couchsurfing is NOT one of them. Don’t even try!

Always on a quest for new profound and transformative experiences. I don't consider myself a traveller really - at least not yet, as I've never stayed abroad long enough to be considered one, but I did visit a few places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With the exception of CS, I almost can't stand being on social media nowadays - with all the bad vibes and whatnot. CS is a true community - made up of people who share the same interests. It's the best platform to meet people from different walks of life and from every country who can have an impact on your life and can even change your life perspectives.

Interests

  • traveling
  • puzzles
  • hiking
  • table tennis
  • volunteering
  • football
  • old movies

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to every kind of music. But I especially love those that lull me to sleep.

Favorite Books: Pinker’s The Better Angels of Our Nature and Thoreau’s Walden. I also love reading historical fictions and memoirs. Few of my favorites are A Gentleman in Moscow, Lincoln in the Bardo, and Born a Crime among others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love fixing things - may be one of the reasons why I chose an engineering program in the university. If you're interested, I can teach you a thing or two on troubleshooting - electrical and mechanical. I can also teach Math. Haha. Just putting it out there. Who knows, might come in handy one day.

I'm always keen on learning new languages so we can definitely do a language exchange and share stories about our countries, cultures, and travel experiences. I'm currently learning how to cook - total noob on this one but I really find it interesting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy sharing culture and languages. I can offer genuine conversations and nice company. We can talk about anything really. I have always been complimented for being a good listener.

Oh! I can also share a couch and some travelling tips whenever you decide to go to the Philippines.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Israel, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
