✤  "Castle Alone: Mission Impossible" — You can come with me inside Prague Castle at night when the complex is closed to the public. The largest ancient Castle compound in the World—alone—for a few selected Couchsurfers.

✤  "Scream" — Scary ...one of Europe's spookiest spots. Just one tombstone, all others: stolen... The assassinator of archduke Franz Ferdinand is buried in this abandoned graveyard. This assassination lead to the start of World War I in 1914. Milos Forman filmed "Amadeus" there, 1984. UK prime minister Margaret Thatcher came 1996, in total secrecy. She exhumed one skeleton. We'll have red wine there.

✤  "Rooftop Prague" — Chill-out party on a roof or just wine-tasting above the city at sunset.

✤  "Night Crawl" — Exploration through spiritual, dark and alchemist Prague. To end ...a morning restaurant visit at 4am — meeting homeless, night workers, party animals and the sleepless?

I learned to love the Couchsurfing cultural exchange experience. Sometimes I matched 2 to 4 different guests, from different cultures at the same time. Childhood at the ocean (Baltic Sea) in a German-Danish village. Technically Germany, 10km away from the Danish border but from mentality and values it was more Scandinavia. I realised only later on in my life how much childhood forms your personality.

I've been sailing since I was 9 years old. Love to meditate in nature. Like to talk to the full moon 🌕

Try to look up to the sky at least once every day, most people usually rarely ever look up. They all just look straight. It limits your horizon.

Lived in 10 countries (traveled 33). Home is gladly (and maybe sadly, too) where I live. Plan to live (part time on/off) in South America and in Indonesia in the near future. Started jogging, couchsurfing sports students and a 61 years old couchsurfing marathon runner motivated me.

Was successful in life beyond my wildest dreams. Also was a huge failure. Always tried to be honest and fair. Have many interests, usually I instantly find sparkling connection points with anybody interesting I meet.

If I would have to describe myself in one single word, I'd like to choose: →reliable

After hosting here 3 inspiring free spirits ( from Australia 💦 "I want to make art" [at full moon] 🇦🇺, Brazil 🌪 "chase chaos with me" 🇧🇷 and from the USA 🪄 "quick, a wish!" 🇺🇸 )  I decided to live more adventurous, more spiritual and ...a 'lil bit' more intense.

They do not know about each other. But they are strikingly similar: All 3 sold everything in their late 20s, left everything behind them, all are artistic or shamanic and they were like flames in Prague. I got lit and burned. Human borderline experiences, exactly what I needed. Pushed me to an edge. And beyond. They all circle the globe freely and ...left 3 footprints on my soul.

And could experience "cool things" with unique wonderful humans? Live (1-on-1, this is not Netflix), cultural problems / differences and many surprises included? Where else can you get this insane global horizon?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

 
One Couchsurfing member was writing ". . . this question is why I hate the internet."

Another CSer wrote: "I was born."

I never swam with pink dolphins, did not ride an elephant, never swam the Amazon river, did no Shark-diving, did not fight in a war, did not fish Pirañas, did not hike the Great Wall of China, no glacier hiking neither, did not dress up as a penguin or climbed waterfalls in the jungle... (all these things other Couchsurfers left in their profiles.)

One wrote: "At the age of 16 I walked through the entire Cambodia, as an 18-year-old I climbed Kilimanjaro and traveled across Peru, where I slept in a hammock while wandering around the Amazon Forrest."

Compared to that (if you take it all at face value) my world looks banal. And calm—especially when I think of all our current wars. Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan, Taiwan endangered?

On the other hand life itself can be exciting: I almost killed myself windsurfing once (I was 16) drifting offshore in cold water, between Denmark and Germany, knowing I will almost for sure die now.

I endangered my life in a small sailboat hitting the cliff of a lonely Kornati island in Croatia.

And in Summer 2022 a gigantic brutal wild firewall hit the holiday house in Greece. A fire-fighting helicopter came to rescue.

But all these (character-building) events happened TO me, it is nothing you ever plan to experience.

I know the concept of 80 Tips for Couchsurfers in a profile is an unusual idea and my profile even got reported for this, but it represents real Couchsurfing spirit (especially here in the "what I can share..." category): locals giving local advice to Couchsurfers.

⚪ A few good cheaper🍴Restaurants in Old Town:

→ Zakladna in Pragues famous Night-Life street Dlouha (modern traditional Czech meals, bistro/sports-bar like, always popular with younger locals) → Kantyna (200m south of main train station) in a former historical Bank (choose amounts and pay at exit in a simplistic steak-bistro: meaty, grilled on open fire, heavy, great quality, fair price, no reservations. Secret tip: dry-aged beef burger, could be the best in town, 15mins preparation time, to order only in the entry room for Euro 10) and nearby: → Spejle for small but great Czech "bites" (Czech version of "tapas", very popular: reservation advisable) → "Lokal" (buzzling, popular with local young beer-drinking traditionalists: 5x in Prague, mainly heavy real Czech sauce drowning meaty dishes). For the price at a fast food place you get a full authentic Czech meal at → "Havelska Koruna" (located just 2mins south of Wenceslas Square)

For Vegans: → Bistro8 (Great, light food, inexpensive, in Prague Hipster area located next to Letna park) → Country Life Bistro (Melantrichova street, next to Old Town square, in 14th century building — cheap and nice) → MyRaw Café (all raw and fresh, no gluten lactose or sugar) and → Maitrea (Feng Shui designed Veggie Oasis on 2 floors, in Tynska street next to Old Town square). And the main budget Vegetarian Bistro chain "Dhaba Beas", 12 restaurants in Prague center (you pay by weight. It is cheap and last hour before closing they have Happy hour: you get 40% off). Franz Kafka and Albert Einstein regularly enjoyed → Café Louvre, the authentic 120 years old Prague historical coffeehouse/upscale restaurant (founded 1902)

⚪ A few of many cool Bars:

→ Cobra Bar (in Prague's Hipster area, an "in spot", great and surprisingly inexpensive Latin American vegan food) → Bukowski's, edgy and chilled (very popular) → Groove Bar, fancy and crowded, live DJs (sometimes Berlin DJs) → Artist David Cerny's fantastic futuristic Robotic bar "Cyberdog" (in Prague 5, it cost 1M Euros to build, check when it re-opens)

A hint: Avoid the dull and overpriced, widely advertised tourist clubs "Karlovy Lazne", "EPIC", "Nebe" and even the super located "Duplex". Especially if you are female (ratio male:female in Duplex can approach about 5:1)

Check out these better alternatives: → "Storm Club" with summer garden → "CrossClub", world-unique with many kinetic industrial steampunk sculptures and breathtaking in-the-air green beer garden sky terraces → "Fuchs2" decaying Stalinist architecture, Berlin Berghain-like-in-small, on a small Vltava river island → "Radost FX", still extravagant, with Radost vegetarian restaurant ("Radost" means "happiness") → "Ankali Club" in a former soap factory. → Climb up the magnificent 75m tall baroque bell-tower of Kostel sv. Mikulase, build 1755 → Visit the Klementinum with the stunning ancient National Library and the → 13th century Gothic Convent of St. Agnes in Prague Old Town, founded 1230. James Bond "Casino Royale" was filmed at → Strahov Monastery inside the Library (close to Prague Castle) founded 1143 and visit its out-of-the-world breathtaking → Theological Hall from 1671. The hall and library regularly appear on the list of places that you should visit at least once in your life

→ Find most of David Cerny's stunning public art statues (Franz Kafka's Rotating Head, Miminka Crawling Babies, Piss - two Peeing Gentlemen, 24m tall Lilit Chrome Woman, Lucerna Horse, Illuminated Theatre Embryo, Torso Tank now in Ukraine colors, 3 Pegasus Aircraft Engines, Quo Vadis Trabant Car, Flying Umbrella Girl, In Utero Woman, Speederman, London Booster Doubledecker Bus, Two Hanging Red Cars, 12m tall kinetic Trifot) and → do visit his unique "Meetfactory" (usually free entry for both his cool galleries)

→ Birth house (U Radnice 5) → Jewish Old-New Synagogue → Café Louvre → Old Town Square (Houses No.2, No.5, No.17 and Kinsky Palace) → Café Arco. → Europes longest Elevator (by far) you find at Metro Namesti Miru: build 1978, 87m long, 533 steps. You travel 53 meters deep underground. → Pure decaying 1984s dire communism great for insta-shots at Metro Vltavska. → Bombastic brown marble Soviet design, made by Soviet architects from Moscow 1985 as a gift of "friendship" is Metro Angel. → Wonderful Stalinist architecture at Metro Mustek. → Baroque Sandstone Sculptures of Venus, Elpis, Mercury at Metro Malostranska. Fantastic metallic 3D Communist wall panels in many city center Metro stations. These are 5 totally overlooked underworld "gems" ...and underground it is warm in winter, cool in summer

⚪ Subway Pizza:

→ Taste the underground Subway Pizza ("Pizza Palermo") down at "Metro A" station Strasnicka. It is really underground. Looks dubious, but good

⚪ Beer Train:

→ Your Czech beer delivered on model trains to your table. Touristic, but visitors love this idea: Vytopna (11-24h).

⚪ Sauna on Riverboat with Prague Castle views:

→ Great Sauna Spa and Sauna Lounge, on a boat, with stunning Prague Castle views (boat is moored at Prague Vyton in the center of Prague). In winter and spring only, Dec-Apr, 18-23h. Afterwards you are encouraged to jump (or climb the steps) into Prague Vltava river. "The Guardian" newspaper voted this as one of the Top 10 Amazing Cheap Spas in all of Europe.

→ Visit the local Vltava riverbank waterfront "Farmer's market at Naplavka" on Saturdays (8-14) for great street food, art market and often live music with stunning frontal Prague castle views.

→ Vaclav Havel lived in Gorazdova 19, Penthouse, next to the iconic → Frank Gehry riverfront "Dancing House", have a look at both?

→ James Bond "Casino Royale" was filmed 2006 at the ultra modern landmark "Danube House" at Karlin's riverbank, totally stunning, free entry to film location Glass Atrium Patio with restaurant and the Café "Mojo" (Karolinska 650)

→ Visit Letna Park, 50m above Prague with stunning vast views south all over Prague. Letna has been named among the 51 Coolest Neighbourhoods in the World to visit 2022 by Time Out magazine. Then stroll north into → Prague Holesovice, the Hipster area of Prague. Non-touristic: Visit some of the best secondhand shops, coffeehouses, bistros or burger joints which serve world-class burgers (also veggie burgers) like in New York.

→ 🎶  Free concerts . . . !  Prague offers several locations where you can enjoy free concerts. Here are some popular options:  ⚪ In 2024 there is a free concert stage on "Strelecky Island". Live popular concerts almost every day in the afternoon, often Czech pop. Great beer garden and coffee shop. Wonderful vibe. The island is located just 400m south of Charles Bridge, easy to reach by foot. ⚪ Old Town Square: free concerts during festive seasons like Christmas and New Year.  ⚪ Prague Castle: Prague Castle occasionally hosts free concerts in its courtyards or gardens. While entry to certain parts of the castle complex may require a ticket, keep an eye out for open-air performances that are accessible to the public.  ⚪ St. Nicholas Church: Located in the Lesser Town, St. Nicholas Church hosts regular classical music concerts, and some of them free of charge.  ⚪ Kampa Park: Kampa Park, situated on the banks of the Vltava River, often hosts open-air concerts during the summer months, typically free to attend.  ⚪ Wallenstein Garden: The Wallenstein Garden, near Prague Castle, is a beautiful setting for outdoor concerts. Occasionally, the garden hosts free classical music performances during the summer season (about 5-7 quality symphonic concerts every month during summer).  ⚪ Municipal Halls and Cultural Centers: Prague's municipal halls and cultural centers occasionally organise free concerts and music events. Check the schedules.  ⚪ Additionally, keep an eye on local event listings, websites and social media platforms for announcements about free concerts happening in the city.

→ Check online for the many outdoor Open Air Summer Cinema screenings: Alternative cinemas in Prague are great, popular, young and full of cinema-history, inexpensive and well curated.

→ When you are at Prague Old Town Square, go to the main tourist information office (historical entrance to old town hall directly next to the famous Astronomical Clock and then in the magnificent entry hall take the first door left. They hide the office, there are no signs "...the best things in life you have to find yourself"). Ask for your free uncommercial → "Use-it Map". It is not just a map but maybe the best guide to Prague: done by young locals, full of skilfully curated up-to-date insider tips, without any commercial intentions.

→ Tourist Traps/Mistakes . . . !  ⚪ Avoid most restaurants on the main tourist paths. They may not be as good as their prices suggest. Turn a corner, you find a place with better food and prices. Look for inexpensive mid-day "lunch menus".  ⚪ A bistro is cheaper than a restaurant.  ⚪ Prague has a fantastic coffeehouse culture: Desserts best enjoy in cafés, not in your restaurant after your meal: cheaper, usually better and you change the ambience.  ⚪ Never order "A beer, please!" You then may get the most expensive "tourist beer". Ask for the beer list or for a recommendation.  ⚪ Prepare for your trip to Prague with good tips and search cafés and restaurants you may like beforehand.  ⚪ Don't use street taxis, use services like Bolt or Uber.  ⚪ If you want to discover non-touristy "Real Prague" don't rely too much on Tripadvisor or Google rankings: All Prague City centre ratings are mainly from tourists, not by local insiders (5-stars can mean: purely touristic and too expensive). In Prague Centre expensive does not equal quality.  ⚪ Try to avoid Mini Markets, if you want to save.  ⚪ Buy a 24 hours public transport ticket for 120kc (Euro 5 - can be payed by Credit Card), avoid the 1000kc fine.  ⚪ Prague has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe, lower than Sweden. Especially women feel safe and free here, even at night. Night transport is 100% safe. Just be aware of few pickpockets in touristic hotspots like Charles Bridge, inside trams, in the subway or Xmas markets. Always pay to store your wardrobe in clubs. Watch out for sometimes wrongly returned change money in touristic places.  ⚪ Alcohol is very cheap in Prague, quality beer is priced like water. Enjoy responsibly, don't get too drunk.  ⚪ Don't even think of riding a bike inside Prague Centre. Walk and use trams!  ⚪ Don't jump from a bridge.  ⚪ Free Wifi is still patchy in the center, there are only about 200 free hotspots. Activate mobile data roaming before you arrive.  ⚪ Tab Water is excellent and there are many free drinking water fountains in the city: Refill your water bottle, save our planet, save money.  ⚪ In Prague Centre to shop for cheap food some of the most popular discount supermarkets are maybe 🛒 BILLA inside the main train station (open 6-23 — located at south side inside the station hall), 🛒 BILLA directly next to Metro station Florenc (open 6-23, near the main bus station) or maybe 🛒 LIDL a discounter in the city center (open 7-22 — free Wifi spot in designer entry lobby with stone benches. Tip: there you can also get machine coffee or hot chocolate for just 20kc = Euro 0.90) inside former Czech Industrial Bank. You find the huge stunning round Safe vault door build 1931 at the cashiers wall.

→ Cash currency:  ⚪ Many restaurants, coffeehouses and clubs accept NO credit cards. Always carry local cash or ask if cards are accepted beforehand.  ⚪ When you exchange cash watch the exchange rate. The fair cash exchange rate is roughly 24 for 1 Euro). Only European currency and US$ are accepted.  ⚪ Try to use "Bankomats" in official banks only. Even there be alert and always select the option "without conversion" to avoid the surcharge with a "guaranteed" bad (!) fixed exchange rate.

→ 24h Luggage Storage in Prague Centre:  ⚪ Main Train Station ("Hlavní Nádraž"), in the beginning of the north passage to train platforms, open 5-24: 150kc = Euro 6.50 for 24h, standard locker fits about 3 backpacks, payment by card only  ⚪ Cheap option for single piece luggage: Main Train Station, upper most southern tunnel passage, open 6-23: normal size baggage or backpacks (normal = hight up to 100cm) 60kc cash (no cards accepted) or Euro 2.50 cash (Euro cash is accepted) for 24 hours (just the real stored hours are counted), large luggage (over 100cm in hight) 100kc per piece or Euro 4 for 24 hours  ⚪ Main Bus Station Florenc ("UAN Praha Florenc"). ONLY take the storage in "Hall 1" in the red brick building, next to ticket counters, open 5-24, 70kc = Euro 3 per piece per day.

→ Up to date Traveler Information: The most informative quality "infotainment" videos about Prague you get from vlogger Janek Rubes ("Honest Guide" — investigative journalism prize awarded — over 1.3M followers): [www.youtube.com/HONESTGUIDE].  You can see photos of him together with me in my Couchsurfing photo albums here. Janek is kinda funny: "Follow me for the best Absinthe in Prague!" he said at mid day to a large tour group of South Koreans, when I was with him. You should have seen the surprised faces... But: There are sponsorships in his videos and many tips are for "normal tourists", less suited for students or low budget CSers.

→ Souvenirs . . . ! Maybe forget the usual cheap rubbish? Authentic Ideas:  ⚪ Beer cosmetics, used since the Middle Ages ("Vitamin B" beer spa soap, shower gel, lotion, cream or shampoo →You find them for instance at "Manufaktura" Praha).  ⚪ Krtek, the communist adventurous black mole. One of these cute puppets even traveled aboard the NASA Space Shuttle 2011.  ⚪ Real handmade Wood Marionettes (including Dinos, animals, skeletons) and puppets. "You don't choose your puppet, the puppet chooses you."  ⚪ At the exit of the famous "Golden Lane" at Prague Castle (exit steps down) you find an automat selling truly unique Golden Lane Franz Kafka golden coins for Euro 3.  ⚪ Mucha Museum and Kafka Museum both have great arty gift shops: cool umbrellas, prints, mousepads and unique art.  ⚪ Antiques and Second Hand clothes from the communist era of 1970s and 1980s in local thrift shops. Second Hand shops are booming here, there are over 140 in Prague. Best ones are in Prague Holesovice.  ⚪ Artistic handmade Glassware from Gallery and Museum shops.  ⚪ For animal lovers: "Elephant Urine" ("Sloní moc") from Prague Zoo's own distillery, it is a strong, legal drink!

→ Go to the hidden Student Club "Mrtva Ryba" in the → University Garden, the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science.

→ In Winter skate on Prague's Ice Skating Rings in addition to visiting the Christmas markets. Skates you can usually rent on site. Many spots are just fantastic, Castle view often included!

→ Dance at Prague riverside at night. Visit bars and bistros on riverside moored former freight boats.

→ "Get Lost...!" — Try to plan at least one long evening just wandering, without any google pins, without a plan, just enjoying "getting lost" in a unique fairy tale setting of the past. You can feel the magic.

→ Watch sunsets from a free rooftop.

Prague actually can be a magical life-long memory.
 
Price levels: The inflation rate is 8%. Prices 2024 are about 1/3 cheaper compared to Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam or Vienna. As a low budget Couchsurfer you are doing fine with $10/day, can live like a VIP with $20 and still can have lots of fun with just $5. I had guests partying without any money. Just do it like the locals: avoid any touristic bar, club, cafe or restaurant. If you see mainly tourists around you: move on!

Tourist Trap = taking advantage of you being in an unknown situation:

• Mini Markets, for tourists only, locals don't use them (charging inflated prices, some sell drinks or snacks more expensive than in the most fancy restaurant) • Money Exchanges (many of them you better avoid) • Most ATMs (unfair exchange rates or transaction fees of about Euro 7) • Fake Weed Shops • Crooked Taxis's • Money Scammers on the street • "Traditional" Trdelnik shops (get sick at inflated prices for which you could get a great full meal) • Prague center Tourist Restaurants (expensive at average quality) • Hop On / Hop Off busses • Fake Absinthe • Tourist Restaurant tricks like ...food by weight ...extra expensive tourist beer or ...coverages fee for forks and knifes • All inclusive boat cruises • Pub crawls • Historic car rides • Beer "Spa" • Strip Clubs • Massage Shops • Medieval Meals • Public Transport Ticket Inspectors (bullying you to pay on the spot) • Tourist concerts • Highway toll sticker (buy the electronic car vignette online, you save a lot) • Airport "Express Bus" (it costs triple and it's much slower than public bus 119 and Metro "A") • Candy Shops for tourists only • Most souvenir shops.

• "The TIP-scam", sadly a very common scam: In some touristic restaurants a 15 to 25 percent "tip-surcharge" is added to your credit/debit card bill when you pay. Secretly! Or you will be directly asked to add a high tip to your bill. To me this even happened in the famous 5 Star Rooftop restaurant "U Prince" — they asked me: "You are fine to add a 15 percent tip to our invoice, aren't you?"

• When you only have Euro banknotes and no cards are accepted, expect an insane exchange rate in restaurants or shops.

Tourist here concentrate on a few overcrowded hotspots.

⭕ "Instagram" — All the famous Insta locations you will see for yourself. They are located in a small area ...if you have an open mind and use trams (do it, it's fun!) you can discover much more than any "influencer".

⭕ "TikTok" — Skip TikTok-tips about Prague given by "non-locals".

⭕ "Popular" ...but maybe not wise — The greedy Prague tourism industry came up with some insanely overpriced ideas. Advertised on the popular websites most travelers use: Pub crawls. "Medieval" meals (often for up to Euro 50 per person: you can buy the same food for Euro 7). Expensive tourist concerts (there are many free concerts). "Cannabis" shops for tourists only (all offered products contain 0% THC). Tourist restaurants (you can dine much better for much less money). China souvenirs. Beer-Bus. Sex "Museum". Trdelnik/Trdlo chimney "cakes" (Cinnamon Sugar Pastry originating in the North of Hungary as "Kürtőskalács", later in Slovakia/Moravia — historically never eaten before in Prague, for uninformed tourists only: in Prague usually wrongly prepared as my Hungarian guests noticed, stone-hard, without any caramel glaze, not butter soft as they should be). Thai massages. Golem tour. Beer "Spas" for tourists — Czech laugh about that concept, they drink their beer. Many boat "cruises" (rent your own small rowing or pedal boat: so much more fun at a fraction of the price. Or take a cute river Mini Ferry, often you are alone on it — it is for free with the 24h public transport ticket). Purely touristic bars. "Historic" car rides (these are replica cars: recently 48 of 50 tested cars failed the government safety checks). "ATM's" just aimed at tourists. Scooters: You must drive them on the streets by law, dangerous and ...expensive. Hop-on/off busses (Euro 20). Bike tours in Prague center (Prague is not Amsterdam). Tourist street "trains" — Travel smarter: THINK!

⭕ "Best of Lists" — I have not yet seen any Prague list which makes sense for low budget Couchsurfers (apart from the main top touristic attractions)

⭕ "Free Walking Tours" — Can often be sensational, if your guide is great and presents with love and real enthusiasm. That's the catch. Usually you get no information about your guide beforehand. Dull guides are a waste of your valuable time. So are "pub crawls", "bar tours" and guided "beer tasting experiences" (do that in really cool hip places, with friends). Remember: It is not for "free", you do pay ...with your limited time available here in Prague. Maybe opt for special tours: night tours, architectural tours, communism tours, cool neighbourhood tours. These usually are offered by guides with dedication and often special academic knowledge.

⭕ "Tourist Ghetto Tips" — The average tourists just stays 1-2 days in Prague, never leaves old town (which covers less than 1% of the entire land of the city of Prague) and rarely uses public transport. Most visitors experience a de facto beautiful "ghetto stay". Most "recommendations" online are from these tourists. Be smarter: Yes, have a look at the top tourist attractions (off-time, avoiding the crowds), maybe go to a hyped tourist restaurant, bar or tourist coffee shop but then ...explore for yourself. Stay longer than 1-2 days. Walk off-time, at night. Get lost! Explore parks, thrift shops, beer gardens, hidden coffee shops, Prague's hipster areas and discover authentic charming gems. Every quarter of Prague has a different vibe. Some feel like Paris, some are still communist, some are hip like Berlin or are filled with grungy underground music clubs. You may be stunned!

⭕ "Tripadvisor" — Once you found a location, Tripadvisor is a good tool to check for critical experiences. But: Not really good to find great local cool venues. The highest rated "best" bars in Prague are old "Irish Pubs" which no local would ever visit. The highest rated "clubs" here are dull, expensive tourist traps. Better do not rely much on "Tripadvisor" — the ratings in Prague are by foreign tourists for tourists.

Locals usually do not leave ratings on touristic sites, many pearls are not rated highly on Tripadvisor. Another extreme example: The highest rated Tripadvisor tour in Prague is a "Shooting Range Tour" (5.0 stars, 896 reviews) — you do not go to Prague to shoot with weapons, ...please. And tourist foodie tours. The "best" Tripadvisor recommendations often are full of tourists, not authentic, overpriced and overhyped. You can easily find so much better and much cheaper.

When you are a "penniless" Couchsurfer: get good local insider tips. Many tips online are "recycled" or just touristic and usually commercial.
