Live. Laugh. Smile. Sing. Cry. Hug. Love. Run. Eat. Drink. Think. Write. Read. Dream. Hope. .... I'm pretty energetic, outgoing and physically active. I read once that "Friends are the Family we choose for ourselves" and firmly believe "There are no strangers, only Friends I haven't met yet." I'm a lover of people and I like to help out and lend a hand whenever I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live life like this is it, each and everyday could be your last - seize the day, no regrets, be the hero of your own greatest adventure. Spend your time on people and causes worth more than what you put into them... The open road is rejuvenation for the mind, body and spirit. Get out. Take Chances. Put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Jump at opportunities disguised as hard work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first was an international surfer. Then a local host. Then a backpacking surfer again, and am now again a host looking to meet new people and highlight the best of Columbus for those visiting this great city to help them take advantage of all it has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Peru, and met surfers in Bolivia, Uruguay, Vietnam and Korea so far, and have had nothing but great experiences. I'm meeting fun, cool new people and really getting into the culture and making real friends along the way! I've often played tour guide for visiting surfers and look forward to paying forward the great karma and hospitality I've received while on the road. Namaste.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took off on a backpacking trip around the pacific rim for 6 months. Leaving home with nothing more than my pack and a general plan, I met new friends, saw amazing places, did and experienced so many new things I will be forever changed. Then did a similar trip, embarking from Argentina and returning back to Ohio over land/sea (no flights) over the course of 8 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very health conscious and therefore have read up and know a lot about what healthy foods you should eat, the benefits of them, and have a very good diet as a result and it's something I would love to pass on and TEACH others!
