We are Salman and Anders - a couple who lives in Copenhagen.
We live in a house with garden. In spring and summer we would be happy to receive guests who would like to give a helping hand in the garden for some hours.

This is our combined profile. We like to cook and travel together, have long walks and do gardening in the spring and summer. Our traveling style is usually not to plan to much, so we are really happy travelling with couchsurfing where you cab ask hosts for advice.

We are open-minded, non-judgemental and down-to-earth people, a bit to the shy side. We are gay, so we are aiming for gay friendly guests and hosts. We try to accomodate many different kind of people (especially who are active hosts... though not a must) and try to keep balance between our lives and hosting.

Our hope is to make our guests feel at home and we give them a tour of the house including kitchen. Please don't be shy to ask anything if you want something. It works best if you are at ease, it also makes us more comfortable when there is less formalism. But we also understand if people are shy or introvert, we are too :)
We endorse last "minute" request, but might not always see messages quick enough to host the same day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling with couchsurfing gives an amazing opportunity to meet local people and explore the destination aided by a local. When we started hosting, we found that Couchsurfing is an great way of meeting new people from different cultures. Even though people stay for free, you get the gift of meeting people you would otherwise never have met. We explored our Copenhagen in ways we never did before. We have enjoyed many evenings and meals with our guests. And seen foreign cities from a different angle than the usual touristic view.

We both love Game of Thrones and other fantasy movies such as The Lord of the Rings. Anders is into dancable music and rock music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, we travelled to Berlin rather spontaneously to watch the football world cup final in the Berlin Fanmeile with a hundred thousand other people. We booked the hotel while on the way. The trip was short and the long bus journeys were quite tiresome, but it was a fantastic trip and well worth the effort :)
We camped at Cap d'Agde, a nudist village.
