About Me

I'm an undergraduate philosopher and humanist, although I'm interested towards social sciences and ecocriticism. I also made studies to teach Spanish, and probably I'm focusing on that in the future. Photography, videogames (Nintendo) and reading are my main hobbies. I love to learn about different cultures, I consider myself a cosmopolitan. I'm someone introver but not shy: so I will be comfortable hanging out in small groups more than parties and large groups. I love nature and wildlife a lot, so I don't like zoos nor aquariums or spectacles with animals, but as in everything there are grey zones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking and building changes in my life, one of them is start travelling instead of wasting my money in other things.
I love to have cultural exchange, talk about politics of other people's countries. Understand, learn and share all from a respectful point of view.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything composed by Epica, Kamelot, Arch Enemy or Nightwish; 80's rock music; latin american rock.

Movies: Stephen King's IT; The hobbit and Lord of the Ring sagas; Holiday; Les Choristes; almost anything by Tim Burton. Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

Books: The Dark Tower Series, Misery, IT, The eyes of the dragon by Stephen King; Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice; Oscar Wilde's short stories; Colombian internal conflict novelas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed Mexico in a really bad condition Volkswagen Beetle with two austrian friends. It was so amazing I'm writing a book of it (2022).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach correct spanish, how to take good pictures, understand about colombia's internal conflict from an objective perspective. Don't ask me to teach or talk about philosophy. :)

I'd love to learn about anything related to my interests or basics about any language.

We can share time together if you're willing to and I'm avaible. Hanging out plans would include: visiting the local aviary (continent's largest), going to downtown and take pictures, musseums, I can go to bars if not too crowded, relaxing at the beach, etc. I'm an open minded, friendly and easy going person (as most colombians). I'm not into partying.
