About Me

My name is Sina, I am from Siem Reap in Cambodia. I love to meet new people, get to hear their stories and learn about them and their culture. So if you are in the area, let's meet!

My day job is as a Front desk manager organizing everything tourists need. I have many years of experience in this field and so I know pretty much everything that might be of interest to people from different places.

Additionally, I am a very enthusiastic couchsurfer. I feel it is pretty close to my heart - getting to know people and helping them out is just who I am. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that and I love it.

If you need a place to stay, I can offer you a spot in my apartment. It has all the things you need: A/C , Fan, Hot/ Cool shower , WiFi. I’ve recently moved to a new place that’s hard to find, so please save us both the headache of trying to find each other and let me arrange a ride to my home for you. Please mention this part in your request to me, otherwise your request will be rejected. Be aware that I will not accept guests with a bad reputation and will decline every request that is about flirting instead of the spirit of Couchsurfing. This will only earn you a report with CS staff and a bad review - so please save us both the trouble.

If you are interested, I will be happy to tell you about the place and organize tours for you. Siem Reap is more than just Angkor Wat, but even that single place is worth many days of your time - especially the sunrise and the exploration part. And the city of Siem Reap itself also has lots of things to offer, from cultural dance performances to the best circus performance in Cambodia and visiting people in the countryside and getting to know the life of non-privileged Cambodian people. So whatever you are here for, you will probably find it ^^

As I do the organizing of tours professionally, it is not a big deal for me but might help you out. And since the people doing the tour jobs literally use the money to feed their family and enable their children to get an education, it feels like a good way to help everyone involved (in Cambodia, a few dollars can make a lot of difference) . So if you need any help in that regard, feel free to drop me a line.

Unfortunately, I do not yet have much experience with traveling to foreign places, but someday, this is what I want to do. Until then, it is great to meet people from other places and travel mentally through cultural exchange.

So in conclusion: I am looking forward to meeting you :-)

New updated : At the moment, I’m putting all my energies in building my parents house in the countryside. I started a fundraising campaign in order to collect donations for finishing it before the rain season come.
You can support me by making a donation at this link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ddw57-help-my-family-to-build-their-house or by helping me sharing it.
When finished, any CouchSurfers who donated will be welcome to stay at my new house and have a very local experience in the countryside.
