About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be a better person :)

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mark from Budapest. I consider myself a friendly and open-minded person, I'm always looking for new adventures in life. I like travelling a lot, and sometimes I think it's not the beautiful historical monuments that count but the good people you meet during your trip.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see!

EN FRANCAIS

Salut!

Bienvenue!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met the concept of sharing your couch with strangers from all over the world at a different site called Hospitality Club years ago. I had a good handful of guests since, and I was also a guest myself a few times. I think it is the best way of travelling, very personal, interesting and fun.

I think CouchSurfing is not simply a chance to meet people from foreign lands. It's a chance to meet good people. Because in my opinion, people who are ready to open their homes and offer their hospitality to strangers are generally the good people in the world. You are good people :) And you can find exactly these good people on CouchSurfing. Isn't it great?

Interests

I play music whenever I can. I learn many languages to be able to talk to more people out there :) I organize a tiny music festival in the country every summer. I used to have an online comic strip but I had to put it on hold temporarily because of time schedule issues. And of course I love to hike and travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's difficult to describe and also kind of emotional. So please don't laugh 'kay? So it was a little village in the coutry where we held a tiny party of mostly musicians and friends. Saturday around 4am in the morning when the last person fell unconscious, I silently packed my bag, and shivering from tiredness and cold I walked to the train station. I sat down on the rails, listened to the infinite stillness of this ghost village of the dawn, and waited for sunrise.

Sometime later the first train arrived. I got on and instantly fell asleep. But for a second there on that silent and motionless moment on the station, I could feel time and space flowing right through me, and I understood a little bit about this strange riddle we call life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to juggle with three balls so that it looks pretty, or how to play the drums, or how to tell if you are in a dream. I can teach you Hungarian language!

I'm ready to learn anything!
