Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing a long time ago. Had some great experiences. Then I got used to doing Airbnbs but now I'm missing creating new connections and spending time with great people. I feel like I have discovered many places and now I keep coming back not necessarily to visit the attractions, bu to absorb the cuisine and the culture. If I ask you to host me ideally I would like to spend time getting to know you, having a meal together or a great night out.

I never hosted but I am willing to accept my first guest! I don't mind that you stay there when I am not there. No preferred gender, but queer and open minded people are priority. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible, if you like being naked that's fine by me but I won't necessarily do it too.

And I recognise some travellers don't follow the CS spirit and only want a place to sleep. I am not like that. But I also think that some hosts could be a little better, be a little more open and flexible, as they too benefit from the experience. Blunt declining without a little excuse when you spent time writing a personalised request is just bad.

I've done Scuba diving with seaturtles in Brazil, it was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a lot about science! I could explain, for example, why you feel like peeing so much after getting drunk (come on, it's interesting!). I'm also open to a lot of stuff, if you could teach me them. I like cooking together and learning new techniques.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I find that a lot of people in Europe are interested in Bazilian culture and the portuguese language. I could surely help you with that!
