About Me

Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm currently in Chiang Mai and have planned a week-long trip here, but I haven't decided on a specific day to leave yet. If I can make some friends and hang out with you all, maybe I should stay longer. I traveled to Malaysia and Bangkok before arriving in Chiang Mai. I would love to make friends to explore the city with me. If you have plans to travel around Southeast Asia, feel free to reach out to me!
BTW, if you want to learn some Mandarin, I would be very happy to teach you.
I used to be a data scientist at a big tech company in China (Chinese equivelant of Spotify, which is called Netease Cloud Music). I quit my job about 4 months ago to go on a healing journey. I have applied to a Japanese language school in Tokyo that starts in June, so I have like about 2 months left on my trip. If you want to hang out with me, please join me, and let's do some cool things together!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Ariana Grande so much! Her new album is absolutely amazing! I've listened to 'We Cannot Be Friends' more than 1,000 times—it's incredible! I also love Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and The Cranberries.

As for genres, I enjoy a wide variety of music, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, soul, K-pop, and J-pop.

The best book I read last year was Return to Reims by Didier Eribon.

I also really enjoy documentary films. I was deeply impressed by Jane Fonda in Five Acts. It's remarkable how she has led such a wonderful life. Sometimes, I wonder why this brave woman fears aging—isn't that ironic? She doesn't seem to fear death or coercive power from the government.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

quit my job!!!
