About Me

🦄 Good day 🌈🧚🏻‍♂️

Here is Udo,
living in Amsterdam, Oud West.
Working in performative art education.
Amsterdam is a big village/small town :-)
Everything is fairly within walk or bike distance. Urban and inter-local public transport is excellent. Within Amsterdam and closer regions a bike is the way to go.

As I need to somehow connect with guests I am looking forward to your clear and motivated request. What is your expectation of Amsterdam? And why me as your hist?
Request for what you need (amount of nights and persons. Down scaling is always an option)
Carefully read ‘my home’ section and prove you did in your requesting. I may blindly decline if you don’t.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Believing in (and relying on) the kindness of stranger. To have an extra reason to clean my home more often. Share and mirror personal and cultural exchange.
I mainly host. Enjoying the surprises and dynamics from those strangers being in my place, bringing their habits in food and culture but also showing my own city through their (your) eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Live life, cook, drink (not persé alcoholic, sober curious), eat, (vegetarian, semi-pescatarian), sleep (alone or with someone), navigate in the hostile Amsterdam (bike) traffic, city life and surrounding.
We can hang out together for sure. You also may have your own plans/ programs, like I might sometimes independently need to attend to my job or other professional or social calls.
Surviving this both beautiful and cruel world. :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I stated above till now I mainly hosted , hardly ever couch-surfed myself.
To demonstrate my ability to repair things (except broken hearts or minds). My somewhat weird and original character loyal and open to sincere people.
It comes without saying (well, I anyway say it here) I am tidy and doing the household chores, both at my home as well as at homes where I am hosted. Usually leaving places at least as I found them, or more preferably, even better. I expect the same from my guests.
