Why I’m on Couchsurfing
*** HOST ***
You are free to shoot me a msg if you have questions on Seattle even if my profile says not accepting guest. If you are wanting a couch, send an actual request! I can give you my whatsapp or phone number to communicate if I am able to host. If I agree to host, you can 100% count on it. I don't send "you still coming" messages. If I say yes, I put it in my calendar and plan on seeing you on the dates you requested. If you are one of those people who have several different people on 'standby' expecting you because you want to choose a host last minute then please tell me that when you ask.
My place is a nice sized one bedroom and have an additional (very comfortable) fold out bed or couch you can sleep on. (See pictures). I'm one block from a grocery store, 8 blocks from bars and nightlife and about 10 mins from downtown/Space Needle so easy to get around. I'll make sure you have clean sheets/bedding and towels and there is onsite laundry if you need to wash your clothes.
Ideal surfer would be 1 or maybe 2 travelers for less than a week.
Being from a small town I treat people like an old friend right away. If I have the time I can drive you around and show you the city but if I'm working that might not be possible. Happy to help take you to tourist spots when I can and I love being a tour guide! You are welcome to tag along if I'm going somewhere fun like a hike, dinner with friends, the gym etc. I treat your stay basically like a hostel, you get clean bedding and towels when you arrive and you can be social if you want or do your own thing. You can help yourself to anything in the kitchen (Snacks, drinks, etc), watch whatever you want on TV (Except PLEASE don't make me watch Centipede again! It was horrible!) Lol :)
Lastly, I don't care if your gay or straight but I am gay if it matters to you.
*** Traveling ***
Typically I just rent a hotel or hostel when I'm traveling so I'm guaranteed to be near entertainment and have a confirmed stay. I am still up for meeting people as I love the CS experience and sharing the adventure with locals. If I do stay at your place I'm happy to take you out for some meals/drinks to show my appreciation.
