I was born in Reunion island, grew up in Paris suburb, lived in the United States as well as in Israel.
For the 7 years before I began journeying through the Americas in 2021, I worked in a peculiar guesthouse, a social business aiming at promoting the socio-economic development of a unique Arab village on the Israeli coastline. I devoted myself to their amazing residents, youths and women in particular, before the last few months brought up the clear realization that it was time to make time... For myself. And so I hit the road in March of 2021 to France, then to Alabama to say goodbye to my family and friends for a long journey throughout Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panamá, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Argentina...

Driving and hiking and as much as possible off the beaten track, I intend to meet the populations of the countries I walk through in a way I can learn directly from the people I meet, learn about their cultures, countries, history and personal stories while learning about plants, about the Mayan calendar and while sharing some of my own personal stories with those interested...

Since I signed up on CS, I earned 2 amazing travel companions, Glen and his service dog, Zill.

The 3 of us are now going through the Americas while running a podcast and a film series about storytelling and what people call "Awakening"... We interview people on the road and enter the lives of the friends we make on the road, learning about and from their stories and documenting their journey and ours...

The journey is incredible! We first covered 12 states of the US, and discovered Mexico, Guatemala and Belize over an 18 months period. We have seen so much, met so many incredible souls, some hidden in magnificent canyons or villages, others in busier neighboroods...

Not sure about favorite but one of the books I remember identifying with many characters: "The Secret Life of Bees". Right now reading "Walking the Americas" and "The Hidden Life of Trees".
Some of the life changing books I've read: "Mindsight" by Daniel Siegel; "The Road Less Traveled" by Scott M. Peck; "The Tao of Truly Feeling" by Pete Walker.
