ABOUT ME

I am wannes, 26 years old. I am a social guy who likes an active lifestyle. I like to meet all kinds of people, even if they are very different compared to me, that has been many times even much more interesting. I like to go out, party and dance the night away. Sports keep me busy and also I am/was engaged in a lot of social activities like youth mouvement, festivals, student organisations, etcetera. I can talk about a very wide range of things, cause I am pretty much interested in everything. You could say, interested in everything, dedicated to nothing. I am still astonished by a lot of things, nature and people like as I was a small, little kid.

I am very open to all kinds of people and thoughts. I think everything depends on the point of view how you look at things, and everyone is right and wrong in a way. So I understand and respect other people and their visions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been travelling for 20 months and I loved it. I travelled with friends so couchsurfing wasnt always the easiest option to do. Anyway, in the future I think and hope I will be travelling a lot more and then I would like to get engaged a lot more. I would love to host people and show them a good time, but I am not really living in a 'touristy, adventurous,...' spot, but hey everybody welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of books, I am very easily intrigued and fascinated by a book. Recently read a lot of Jo Nesbo, loved harry Potter a few years ago and my last absolutely favourite book was Shantaram, a must read!
Like all kinds of movies.
Music depends on the mood where I am in. But music is very important for me, life is always better when there is music playing around. Rock and roll, ska, pop, Indy rock,... I like it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling through whole the United States, Australia and New Zealand were definitely the highlights. And in those travels are so many highlights and special moments that it is to difficult to pick them out, but I will tell them all to you without any problem.
Most exciting are definitely the people you meet in all kinds of situations which become true friends afterwards.

If you smile at the world, the world smiles at you! This is proven by science where they saw a change in some brain activity that when you just smile and use you facial muscles to smile, there will be a change in you brain actiovity where you look more positive at the things and world aroud you!
