About Me

I am a 33 years old digital nomad from Germany. I've been living abroad, traveling and working in more than 35 countries for more than 7 years, meeting people from various cultural backgrounds and places, exploring foreign cultures, ideologies and a deeper sense of the person I actually am. I'm a lot into Music (also play it), I love literature and I get enthusiastic about nature in all it's facades. I work on a freelancing basis in Sales and as a photographer and filmmaker. The last two and a half years I lived in my vintage van Karlchen and toured around Europe. At the moment I am travelling South America with a van and preparing a big expedition. Together with my dog Fridolin and three donkeys I want to walk from Tierra del Fuego all the way to Alaska and make a movie about it. Feel free to connect on Instagram @donkey.waltz

To my latino/a friends out there:
I am always appreciating help and support for the expedition project. I would highly appreciate couch offers, valuable contacts and connections, especially to horse, mules or donkey farms, as well as info on rainbow gatherings, cool community and perma culture projects and circus crews in Latin America. Otherwise I am looking forward to meeting up with you, sharing stories, having a jamming session, a stroll outside, throwing the frisbee, hanging a slackline, grabing some delicious foods or a beers.

If you are interested in a professional photo shooting or happen to need professional video content, let me know :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an active person that is always out and about, captured by projects, or standing by the side of the road with the finger in the air and the sun in my face. Couchsurfing I consider a valuable tool to connect with people and improve the quality of my travels by the means of social interaction and experiences. Traveling without people is like looking at a photo book - bare and without emotions. The people make it real, the people make you feel, the people make the stories and memories, the actual treasures.

Despite the fact that I most of the time on my travels encountered hosts and fellow travellers in other ways and fashions, and not via Couchsurfing, I have been part of the CS community almost since the beginning. So far I exclusively had amazing Couchsurfing experiences. Met the most wonderful people, some of whom I am still friends with, and never had any bad experiences at all. Couchsurfing brings individuals from different backgrounds together and thus has always been an enrichment for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've explored many cultures in many countries making invaluable experiences. Traveling in a way is maturing and even incidents and events of unpleasant nature eventually alter your life. It's all about memories and experiences that truly make you rich - not possessions.

There has been too many great memories and life-changing experiences. I try to design every day in the most memorable and fulfilling way.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only limitation you have is your imagination.
