About Me

Don't try to use Couchsurfing as tinder please.

My name is yandare but friends call me Yan. In April 2021 I visited Europe for the first time and I only had a one-way ticket. I moved to Hungary (Budapest) with a working holiday visa and I quit my job there in July 2022. I have been solo travelling full time as a backpacker since then. I have worked in a hostel in Montenegro, I have hitchhiked through the Balkans, slept in ferries, lived in Scotland for 3 months during winter, petsat in London; spend the whole Ramadan month in Morocco and spent almost 2 months in Egypt. I am always seeking for new adventures and trying to meet people. My next adventure is the working holiday in Australia this November 2023.

I was born and raised in Chile ( Concepción). I graduated from University with a Bioengineering degree but I decided to travel the world before working in my career.

I love spending time in the nature and the company of animals and new people. I am vegetarian ( the hardest thing I have done in the Balkans) and love visiting new coffee shops in every place I visit. I don’t drink or smoke but I love go out and specially if there’s a Latino party happening.

I enjoy music festivals and getting lost in new cities. I am clean and respectful, I am also a good listener. I can offer you a nice conversation about different topics. I’m interested in the environment, education, politics, music and baking.

Ps: I’m child-friendly / LGBTQ friendly/ dog friendly
