About Me

I'm 31 yo, virgo, lover of cinema e videogames.

Easy going, likes the open spaces as much as the indoors. Can enjoy either a hiking or a day exploring a city as much as whole day in the cinema or lazy in bed. I usually travel alone, so meeting people along the way is very important to me and it makes the trip much more special and enjoyable, and that's why I love Couchsurfing.

I'm from Blumenau-Brasil, graduated in History and post-graduating in Art History and Linguistics and MBA applicant on Tourism and Hospitality.
Historian specialized in local history, with experience in schools, libraries, museums and social projects. Currently working at the "Funerary Memorial Mathias Haas", the first museum in Brazil about cemetery art.
Also city counselor for culture of Blumenau (term 2023-2025) and ex-counselor for youth's affairs (2018-2019)

Manager of Blumenau Walking Tour, a project about local history and patrimonial education in Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Also lived in Casablanca (Marrocos), where I've worked as a volunteer, and in Tunisia, where I was working last year. And now I'm in a social project in schools in towns around Czechia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make more friends, to meet more amazing people from other countries, to know more about other cultures and to expand my view of the word

Interests

I'm really passionate about culture, love to spend the day visiting museums (I even work at one) or at the cinemas (I worked at one too).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: jazz, blues, rock, classic/baroque, samba, alternative, etc.

Movies: specially classical Hollywood and Europeans and Eastern Europeans. But I watch anything.

Books: history, astronomy and biographies. Also mystery and thrillers, specially the ones with political discussions, like the latin-american horrors. I've been diving into some Webcomics as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a month and half volunteering in and traveling around Morocco where I had the opportunity to spend a night music night with Tuaregs (desert natives) and some traveling friends with music around the fire, and doing another project now in Czech Republic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know and can share about Brazilian history and culture, specially from my city, and maybe I can bring some Brazilian candy.

And interested about the language and anything on the day by day/culture/traditions of the country. And/or anything else you’re willing to talk about {:

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experience and my knowledge about anything I can share and that interests you.
I can try to make some Brazilian food if I have the ingredients (but that's not my strongest point tho) and I like to talk about history, politics and whatever else.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Tunisia, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Czech Republic, Morocco, Tunisia
