One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent Christmas in 2015 in a cold dock in Pembroke, Wales, because my ferry to Ireland got cancelled. Tucked in a scratchy blanket, watching Home Alone and eating olives with a bunch of strangers 🌲

Also, losing my passport somewhere in the south of Kazakhstan and retrieving it thanks to a lovely Uyghur family who travelled across the country to get me my passport back a few hours before a scheduled crossing to Kyrgyzstan!
