Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new at Couchsurfing, but some of my closest friends have been using it for a while. I really enjoyed their stories with their hangouts and travels and decided to try it out.

I would love to make new friends, show them more of my beautiful country and learn more about yours.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music: I’m very eclectic I can go from classical music to hip hop within the same playlist
- Movies: not very into movies in general, I rather watch some series. My favorite genre is comedy and my current top three is Brooklyn 99, Never Have I Ever and Derry Girls
- Books: I own a +200 book collection, definitely a bookworm

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Brazil:
- Visited the Quilombo de Palmares, the largest at most lasting center of Black resistance in Brasil in colonial times
- Swam with sea life in the natural ocean pools of Galés in Maragogi, Alagoas
- ⁠Saw the Saint Francisco River mouth meet the Atlantic Ocean
- Watched to many many orchestras around the country
- ⁠Visited almost every museum in São Paulo
- ⁠Attended Rio’s Olympic Games in 2016
- ⁠Partied at the 45th Galo da Madrugada. The largest street block in the world. In this edition, 2024, 2,5M attended the party
- ⁠Partied in Olinda’s Carnival and saw the giants puppets parade

Around the World:
- Traveled internationally for the first time in 2013 to make a wish at the Walt Disney World
- ⁠Swan with Dolphins
- ⁠Did my first solo trip at 23 yo to the UK
- ⁠Did a Ghost Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland
- Watched Miami x Boston basketball game in Miami in 2019
- ⁠Visited Argentina and Uruguai with my sister to celebrate our college’s graduation
- ⁠Visited the amazing Castle’s of Sintra, Portugal and got lost at the park’s forest during the night
- ⁠Saw the first Festival de Luz de Madrid with beautiful sculptures made with light
- ⁠Snorkeled in Providencia, Colombia and spotted a baby shark, a stingray, beautiful corals and many species of fish
- ⁠Watched the Broadway Musicals: Aladin, Wicked, The Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, MJ, Six, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hamilton and The Lion King
- ⁠Watched Brazil x Jamaica at the Women’s World Cup 2023
- Climbed the Sydney Bridge
- ⁠Slept under the stars in a camping trip in Uluru, Australia
- ⁠Skydived on the top of the Great Barrier Reef
- Snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef

Teach, Learn, Share
